It’s a very small place, but god… the bread here is 10/10 its made fresh and its so soft and spongy. The taste is like no other. Besides this place there’s only been one other guy who makes it like this. I definitely recommend trying this place.

It’s a ti y place. Could do much better with appearance. Their conchas were soft even after two days loved them, but empanadas were dry and lacked flavor. Best thing is they are priced .80cents not by pound like these other bakeries. Worth it.

I do not recommend Arturos Bakery Alamo Texas I ordered 80 pieces of mini conchas and was missing a few pieces from my order so I called and spoke to the owner besides being very rude she had no solution for me and pretty much said that there is nothing she can do for me. Next time I’ll stick to my regular bakery La Especial in San Juan Tx

It’s always great going to buy sweet bread from here. They have everything you’d like. Call ahead and place orders. The baker is also a breadsmith at another known bakery.

Amazing little hole in the wall. Had all the classics but what got me was the nicest lady behind the counter. I recommend you check it out!!! Very reasonably priced, not like those overpriced places popping up everywhere. This place is legit transplanted from the streets of any small town in mexico. Go there!!! Be nice! Lets make this place famous! I preordered a bunch of small conchas for an event. She delivered! The concitas were great for over 3 days! My go to panadería from here on out in the RGV!!!

My favorite place to get Conchas. They make small batches of fresh bread at least twice a day usually just the favorites. The selection is small. Every time I’ve gone I’ve gotten fresh concha’s at a reasonable price 0.60c. Just know it’s a small place and needs some tlc. The employees always welcoming and humble, give this place a try.
