Located within the Hilton, directly on the beautiful white sand of Pensacola Beach, Salt is a classy place to enjoy fresh from the Gulf cuisine prepared perfectly. The wide open dining space is clean, spacious, and stylishly decorated. There’s a big two-sided bar, outdoor patio, booth seating, and a large dining area. The staff are friendly, professional and helpful in every way.

Salt is the casual lobby restaurant at the Pensacola Beach Hilton. The atmosphere is bright and modern with great lighting, ample seating and good spacing on the tables. For breakfast they offer a buffet with an omelette station. The food offerings are good but could be a bit more varied. Our server was excellent, friendly and attentive.

The crab claws were, without question, the best I’ve ever had, perfectly seasoned and infused with unforgettable flavor. We started with a luscious charcuterie board, featuring a thoughtfully curated selection of upscale cheeses, meats, and crackers. It was the perfect size to share, and I was impressed by the gluten-free options available for my husband.
Every dish at our table was presented beautifully, elevating the entire experience. The cocktails were delicious. Amanda, our server, was exceptional. From start to finish, the service and food were top-tier.
Salt is far from your typical “hotel restaurant.” It’s a true culinary destination on Pensacola Beach. We felt pampered and delighted, and we’ll absolutely be back for another unforgettable evening.

Dining at Salt was an exceptional experience! The lobster ravioli was a true masterpiece, with perfectly cooked lobster and a boastful, creamy sauce. The calamari was also a standout, with a flavorful dipping sauce and batter. We also had the crab cakes and they are a must try as well. The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly, making our date night truly memorable. The warm ambiance and beautiful rustic decor made the entire dining experience feel special. Highly recommended! Definitely will dine there again.

We came on bikes and they had bike racks near the entrance. We enjoyed the resturant’s atmosphere and all the people were very friendly and attentive. We had the three cheese flat bread which was amazing decently exceeded expectations. We then had the crab cake signature dish with polenta and fries. The crab cakes were a bit bland and the sauce was a small amount, although with salt and pepper we enjoyed all the crab. The fries and polenta were really great and we enjoyed eating here!

We went to Salt for my husband’s 60th birthday. The hostess was great and looked like a young Taylor Swift. Our waitress Alex was the best waitress we’ve had on Pensacola Beach! She explained everything, checked on us often, and was an exceptional conversationalist with outstanding knowledge of the Pensacola area food scene. My husband had the seared scallops with linguini and the cream sauce which he said was so good. I had the crab cake, which was a true lump crab cake. As a special treat they brought him a chocolate mousse cake. Kudos to the Chef. Amazing job Salt!

We got the crab stuffed bacon wrapped shrimp and Mediterranean dip sampler the first time. We got lamp lollipops the second time. I got the harvest salad (oh.my.gawrsh) and lobster ravioli both times. He got gyros the second time. Both times we brought food home. We both drank until we couldn’t read the menu anymore. They gave us a LOCAL’S discount but no promises that will happen every time. It’s SOOOO GOOD!!!!
