Reviews
First for people who like quick easy reviews. The food was pretty much spot on and made fresh. It tasted great, I ate the tater tots, onion rings grilled cheese steak burger and a regular hamburger with mozzarella cheese. Everything was cooked to perfection. The person taking the order of course was very patient and focused. He caught an issue with the order and brought it to our attention immediately. Now we were the only two people in the restaurant at 10:55 am in the morning. So you take that for what you made.
Now to the part of this review that seriously bothers me. I watched this place being built for several months. I’ve always seen them from the side of the road somewhere else in Texas but never had a chance to go there. So I was happy to see that they finally opened and someone was in the Drive-Thru. Me and my coworker went there for lunch. Yes ↕️ there was one problem during the order. They didn’t have prime rib for the steak burger. Which really looked like the absolute best burger on the menu. The person at the front caught it and adjusted the order. They didn’t give us our money back but they added a lot more stuff to it. Good or bad take this how you made it but to give a just open burger restaurant and one ⭐ stars is atrocious. Just imagine all these people who think there’s some kind of Keith Lee, Mr chime Time or chef Ramsay come eating at a fast food restaurant like a guru and give someone one star ⭐ . Just imagine if they could show up to your job and catch you slipping. I’m not a paid actor or paid anything. My review’s track record is pure. I’ve been on social media for over 10 years. I’m the world famous Fredrick247365 or at least world famous in my own mind lmao People we got to do better. If your order was completely messed up and they tried. You can give them a two-star or sometimes a three-star. To go one star and they’ve only been open 2 months and y’all hit them up like that of course they’re working out problems. Bring it to their attention and let them work out the problems. Now I did see some people had went back a second or even a third time and still hit him up. Now then they get what they get. Just remember one star review is a death sentence to most small businesses that just opened up and bigger businesses that aren’t really that popular in the area. Enough said I hope you all enjoyed yourself in these delicious burgers. I’m definitely coming back to try everything on the menu at some point lol .
Thank you to the entire team for a great experience.
I ordered the same thing I always get, patty melt meal with French fries, water this time and I asked for 4 fry sauces. I’m very thirsty and hungry.
I pull up to the payment window and the worker is playing with my drink lid… spinning it between his fingers and putting his fingers all over the inside of the lid. Yuck. I guess I won’t be drinking this water. I consider saying something but I’m already feeling bad and I don’t feel responsible for training Freddy’s employees on hygiene.
I pull up to food window. They pass me my bag of food and then tell me they are out of fry sauce. Ok why didn’t they tell me that at the other two interactions? He asks what other sauces I want and I’m not sure because I haven’t tried them before. He dumps 6 sauces (3 flavors) into my cupped hands because he already passed me the bag. Okay.
I drive off and take a bite of French fries and start coughing because the salt is so thickly applied it’s gross. I get a bad feeling but still drive home with my meal because I’m running late. I get home and take a bite of the patty melt and same thing! Salted so much it’s disgusting and inedible. I have to throw it all away.
I’m not a sweet tooth, I’m a salt tooth, but this was just a stupid amount of salt. So I wasted time and money and I’m still really hungry and thirsty.
Freddys is usually my favorite go-to fast food, it’s been tasty and my house is near there. But now I’m thinking I won’t be going back because I’m questioning the hygiene of the rest of the restaurant and afraid of wasting more time and money while leaving hungry.
