Hopefully it stays that way given it has only opened recently. Beware: some items are mislabeled so do a quick take to make sure you’re getting what you actually want.

Great variety of ingredients and the mala mix was really flavorful. They also offer a Guizhou-style sour soup base, which is unique and delicious. Would definitely come back!

This Dongbei-style malatang was such a pleasant surprise. The broth is super fragrant, and the first sip instantly tastes like home. The ingredients are fresh with lots of choices, and the portions are very generous.
The bone broth is rich and flavorful—definitely the kind of malatang where you actually want to drink the soup. The restaurant is clean, the staff are friendly, it’s now a must-try spot for me in the Bay Area. I’ll definitely be back.
