I was looking forward to trying this place once I discovered it. I looked up the reviews and it is sitting at a 4.3, which gave me confidence.
I walked in and placed my order: Quarter white meat chicken, 3 plain fried chicken wings, and roasted veggies. I started with the wings. They were not bad, had a mild satisfying flavor. I also tried dipping it in their signature “Issac sauce.” The sauce was a little too sweet for my taste but did not have a bad flavor.
Moving on to their signature roasted chicken. This was the highlight of my disappointment. It was lukewarm at best and no real flavor. The mild flavor I was able to catch was not very tasty. It was a little off putting. The roasted veggies would have been decent accept their version of roasted veggies, although was eye pleasing, was a cup of cauliflower with one or two carrots in it. Not much variety there.
The service was questionable as I watched several people come in after me, order, and get their food before me. At least five other people. I am willing to lean on the side that it could have just been a matter of what I ordered. But my problem with that is that everything was lukewarm, not hot at all.
Overall, this was a disappointing experience. Don’t think I will be trying this place again.

Soo happy this place opened up in Burtonsville! Their sandwiches are great. Good size chicken on thick toast, perfectly fried with great flavor. The fries are really good thick cut, crunchy, and seasoned. I’ve also ordered the whole roast chicken. It is quite pricey but I haven’t had a dish here that I didn’t enjoy. My husband and I also really enjoy the house made juices. The grapeade is something serious and very addicting. I hate that I have to see it after leaving the gym though…I’m always tempted.

We both had salads. I had the grilled chicken salad— very tender and well seasoned. Quality vegetables. My husband had the oyster mushroom quinoa salad – again very “meaty” and tender and fresh. Service was pleasant. Beer and wine too was a surprising nice touch too. Will be back!

Im a chicken tendy lover and these are 10/10! They’re super crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, without that heavy batter/grease. The sauces are also all delicious and they have a variety to satisfy anyone. The service is always pleasant and fast, and we love to see the owner there all the time, making sure everything is running efficiently and smoothly. I have to refrain from coming too often but its worth every penny. BONUS! They have an awesome beer/wine selection 🙂
