We went there on a Wednesday about 1p and we stayed about 2.5 hrs. It’s located in the ward Centre, so there is sufficient free parking. Remember, parking has low ceiling so if you have lifted vehicles… be aware. When we went there, it wasn’t busy, so service was good. The food was ok, i like the options of broths and there are different sauce options to add to you broth. Fyi, there is a TIME LIMIT for ordering food but you can stay there as long as you want. Also, there is a small buffet cart with the sauces, fruit, garnish and jindui. I would come again if I’m in town

I ate here on a Wednesday night with family. We had six people and got sat right away. Everyone is very friendly, the menu is very extensive, and all the food tasted great! This was also our first time at this restaurant, so the server helped us navigate the menu and how to use the cook top. We did the all you can eat, and it was worth it for us. Great time to eat with family. Definitely would recommend if you are in the Waikiki area!

The food quality is not what it used to be. And is not that great, fun atmosphere and vibe. Salad bar selection is pineapple and seaweed salad and sauces so not a lot. The broths are good but if you’ve ever had AMAZING hot pot this is not it. Not bad price wise considering it’s Hawaii and all you can eat but don’t expect the greatest hot pot experience of your life going here. And pro tip only order foods you truly like you don’t want to pay extra or be forced to eat terrible food.

Went for lunch and was so good. Chong Qing is a popular hot pot chain in China so being able to try one in Hawaii was so cool and so delicious. From the hot pot options, broth, and don’t forget the dipping sauces you can make! While the service was excellent and attentive, I don’t think I would come back here again. Nothing wrong with the service. Service was excellent and they were quick to bring out the food, check on you, clear out the plates. It’s just that the food portions are so small each time. The first round, I ordered very little because I didn’t know how much quantity it’ll be. The second round, I ordered more but the food still seems so little to me. I ordered 3 rounds total. 2ppl is $77.98 pretax and pretip.

An island visit to Oahu isn’t complete without the family gathering around a delicious hot pot. On our most recent dine-in experience, the taste of the broth was really bland. It wasn’t as flavorful and herby as before. Their broth was their edge over a traditional shabu-shabu, and they just lost that advantage. They’re a little pricier over their closest competition.
One thing that I like, though, is we don’t have to wait to be seated. Each time we visit, without any reservation, we get seated right away.

This is now my favorite hotpot restaurant on the island, mainly because of the variety, price point, and service. I got the spicy marrow broth, which honestly isn’t that spicy. I honestly can’t remember which beef is which, but I enjoyed the fatty beef slices and the lamb. Personal faves are also the trip, spam, bean curd sticks/rolls, and their plethora of seafood and veggies. They have a few special items that aren’t included in the buffet price, but I haven’t tried them yet. DIY sauce bar is a treat because each person can personalize to their own taste. They also have some bar items like kimchee or Seaweed salad up for grabs, as well as dessert items like fruit. Soft drinks are included and free refills, but make sure you don’t fill up on carbonation! What I particularly liked about this place is that each table has a cart at the end of it to extend the space for all the hotpot items as they come out. Reservations are advised, but the restaurant is pretty spacious and had lots of tables. Parking is within the Ward garage complex which cam be a hit and miss. Will definitely be coming back for more AYCE buffets.
