Decided to try this place out. This place also had good reviews. Here goes the test.
They are still in the Covid phase. No dine in. Still have take out available. The walls and face shields are still up. Not as busy as Leong’s 23 Chinese Restaurant at lunch. I was the only guest getting take out. The location is pretty far out east too. Prices are a little more than Leong’s 23 Chinese Restaurant. Fast service. No issues. They speak decent english.
The taste. I ordered the schwean/szechuan chicken combo. Tasted good. Slightly different than Leong’s 23 Chinese Restaurant. I can tell they used “garlic with chili oil” for the schwean/szechuan chicken. Not necessary for this dish. Good eggrolls. Same dipping sauce but a little on the sour side. Needs a little water to fix taste. The combo plate had less food than expected.
All in all both this place and Leong’s 23 Chinese Restaurant make good chinese food. Try one, or try both. Both are good enough for my taste. Trust me, these two places are above average. Other places I’ve been to have been worse.

I’ve been a dishwasher for a good Chinese restaurant, waiter, and a cook. I know my menu and how each dish should taste. I’m an Asian restaurant guy and a major Chinese food cook and critic. I was raised on Chinese food. I worked at many different Chinese restaurant. My uncles own about 10-20 Chinese restaurant in upper Michigan.*****

The lobby is dirty. Got pad lo mein and it was leaking soup so bad that they wrapped it in plastic and then double bagged it. Pad lo mein should not have “sauce” so thin that it was literal soup w noodles and chicken that tasted like it was seasoned with water. It was gross. I went back to give it back to them and try something safe like chicken lo mein and the same exact thing happened. It was like ramen broth and tasteless. I gave up after that, I never see people go there & that adds up.

No filling in the crab rangoon and barely anything in the egg roll. The rice is plain only colored with soy sauce.. not the worst tasting food but definitely flavorless. The hostess was very pleasant!

Never again. I just wanted some great steak k o w. It was so bad. The meat was tough and chewy. Tasted like it was cooked in a rusty pot that just fried fish. I’m just going to drive a couple more miles and go to Leong’s 21.

I’m seeing some negative reviews however we thought it was good! My order was taken by a really pleasant man who said it would be ready in 10 minutes! I teased him that I would barely get out the door because it was so fast! We had General Tsau chicken, crab ragoons, orange chicken, and cashew chicken combo meals. The portions were large and we shared between three hungry adults. There is definitely another whole dinner for all three of us for tomorrow. The egg rolls and fried rice were good as well. The order was ready easily within 10 minutes and we were pleasantly greeted upon arrival for pick up. So I’m not sure why the negative reviews! I liked it! I took photos of the updated menu I hope this helps!

After years of ordering here, turn out the lights, the parties over. It’s gotten worse and worse….less flavor, higher prices, and a basic feeling of uncaring. I can’t spend my money here anymore. Nice owners, declining quality. Rice is old and mushy. No flavor at all. Way better options elsewhere.

Ordered takeout on 1/6/25. Very pleasant on the phone and in person when picked up. Hands down the BEST Hot and Sour soup we have ever had. They will make spice levels on the soup too. Everything we ordered was amazing. The Almond boneless chicken was perfect and the gravy was superb. Also ordered Vegable Moo Shu which was also the best we ever had from any Chinese restaurant in Macomb County. Crunchy vegetables and very tasty. Will 100% order again and looking forward to it.

I’ve been living here over 12 years and never tried THIS Chinese Restaurant out. Excellent food and the carry out (only option still, no dine in) was packaged nicely. I got the Almond Boneless Chicken and it was excellent. Everything was hot and fresh and the portions are huge. I will get 3 meals out of this for only $8.70!
Needless to say I’ll be back and trying some other dishes soon.

Got a carry out dinner for 2. Worst worst food ever. Chicken was tough pork was dry. Went back owner? Gave me a hard time on refund. Soup had no veggies,: nothing on Almond boneless chicken. We there Sept 6-2024@5:30pm. Owner gave me a slip for one free almond chicken. Don’t go there for food.
