The place is a decent size and clean. It’s usually never crazy busy here. They have a small dining area.
I mainly only go here when my mom sends me here to get her favorite palabok and chicken empanada. I grew up always having the mocha crunch cake at family parties. I never really understood the hype.
My tip is to check the dates on the items prior to purchasing. Mamon and items like that only have best buy dates from about 3 days of purchase. If you don’t eat right away, it does get moldy by the best by date.
Second tip: If you are buying empanada and palabok, make it a meal with a slice of cake. You save a little more that way. I personally like the yema cake or chocolate mousse.
Service is ok. They ladies at the register are typically nice.

This is my favorite location when I feel like getting some empanadas, pastries (mamon), or cakes (Ube flan cake). Empanadas, I usually order the chicken, beef and pork. Beef is my favorite. They came out with a spicy chicken which I haven’t tried. And recently I just bought their version of senorita bread. Will update how it is. But I always will come back when I need my empanadas fix.

There’s plenty of Red Ribbon shops around as it’s a chain and every store is almost minted in the same standardized fashion. It’s a bakery and minor restaurant with a Filipino twist.

One thing I can say about this place, they are reliable and consistent. Their halo-halo dessert is decent and one of my go-to for that treat. The cakes and pastries are decadent and outstanding, especially one of their standard offerings, the moist chocolate cake bars.

There’s nothing special about their palabok, arroz caldo or any of the food items, but at least they’re there if you want a taste of quintessential Filipino food.

It’s very corporate in decor and presentation, more like a fast-food joint, but nonetheless, it’s great they’re around to bring the taste of the Philippines.

I was just visiting this city and fancied Sans Rival but the other Red Ribbon store sold out of this goodness so we decided to come here. Service is efficient, store is well-lit and clean. However, the only drawback: the texture of Sans Rival was like of cardboard. It tasted deliciously buttery but once we sunk our teeth into the pastry, it’s tough. Hope you improve the storage to keep its crunch and freshness.

Heads up for those intending to avail of the 6-pcs Chicken Empanada for $17.99. PAY ATTENTION to your receipt. Female Cashier told me : 6 + one free. Upon checking my receipt = I was charged $21.54. When I asked why I was charged more and not $17.99 … the response was: one was free. I made it clear to both cashiers on duty: “don’t say it’s FREE because you charged me $3.55 more and NOT the promo price of $17.99.
What a deceiving promo / sales talk!
Their Coffee – so cold. I wish the Cashiers (both female scheduled Aug. 10th – around 10AM) will monitor the temperature before serving it to the paying customers.
Palabok – too oily / no meat / all sauce and 2 tiny slices of hard boiled egg.

I bought 2 chicken empanadas to go but when I got home to eat it, it was a spicy pork empanadas. I can’t bring them back because it is a 10 mile drive to the store. What a dissatisfying Sunday.

Been standing for 2 minutes, no one in the cash register. The guy who was there did not even turn around to acknowledge me and just continued preparing what I think are online orders although he knows I am there. I just decided to leave.
