asper Murdock’s Alehouse is a restaurant just across the river from Hanover NH. It features one restaurant menu, whether or not your preferred dining venue is the Pub, Outdoor Patio, The Newhart Room or our Indoor Terrace. Our current menu is focused on your Pub Favorites, Casual Fare and a few select Entrees that change seasonally. A number of items include ingredients from Jasper Murdock Ales made on site. Reservations are recommended.
Patrons of the historic Norwich Inn’s brewpub can sample comfort fare & English-style ales & lagers.

The soft pretzels with mustard dipping sauce were good. The french fries with aïoli were quite good as well. The French onion soup was well seasoned, caramelized onions without being overdone. The pesto pasta was quite flavorful without being overbearing. The flatbread margarita pizza was quite good with a balsamic reduction sauce on it. The Caesar salad dressing was adequate. They tolerated our kids well. The ice cream and sorbet seemed good as well. The vegetarian potstickers were quite flavorful and crispy.

Met family who were staying at the Inn for dinner. Menu is American and pub oriented to go with the beers they brew across the street.
We got a collection of dishes from fish and chips to a chicken banh mi, to a gnocchi. Their soup was a corn chowder so we tried that too.
Portions were generous and everything tasted good. Our server – Morgan – was a hoot and made the dinner very enjoyable.

Great service by Gracie! Beautiful surroundings, cozy little brewpub, nice local crowd. The beers we had were both made in-house and were wonderful.

Our server, Morgan made our dining experience here so wonderful and pleasant. She greated us at the dining table with a positive energy and made sure that we were looked after while dining. They don’t have many vegetarian options but we were happy with the couple of dishes that we ordered.

A great location with outside seating in a quaint little part of town. Plenty of parking just off street. Food selection is good and very tasty. Try some of the beers! Just off of the highway and worth the stop.

The place has a lot of character and history but the food was bland and expensive. The service was professional and courteous. The selection of beer and wine was satisfactory but nothing to rave about. Making a reservation also seemed a bit more complicated than necessary given there were open tables the entire time we dinned.

The best outdoor seating in the UV. A beautiful old inn. Enjoy the best of all seasons including indoor fireplace for those chilly winter nights. Awesome beers brewed on site. Six plus taps. Good pub fair to boot.

They keep odd hours, so suggest calling ahead of time. Best dishes are the pasta dishes. I also appreciate the write-up on the limited beer list that is available.
