Established in 2020 during the pandemic, Moneybags Dumplings is a Buffalo-based halal take out spot specializing in hand-rolled dumplings filled with a variety of halal meats and vegetables. Our dumplings are available fried to a golden crisp or steamed to perfection, and we also offer thick cut noodles and fried rice as side dishes. With a unique twist on traditional dumplings, Moneybags Dumplings is sure to tantalize your taste buds! We also have built our own food trailer that we launched in 2022 and we attend many outdoor events and farmers markets in the summer. Follow our social media for updates on where we will be at! Got the fried black pepper beef dumplings and steamed sambal chicken dumplings. Both were excellent and filled with meat unlike most dumpling spots which tend to use more fillers. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Very glad we got a chance to try this. Would defintley come back again.

40 minutes for noodles from a food truck
Thanks for your reply. If you would have told me there was an issue with the tanks and to come back in a half hour or so, I would have understood and happily done that. There were multiple people waiting and you didn’t say anything. Also you didn’t give me extra dumplings, I ordered extra and paid for them. Extra dumplings would have been awesome.
I will add that the food was delicious but the experience left a bad taste in my mouth.

These dumplings are amazing! I’ve had all of the flavors, and it’s hard to pick a favorite – the sesame chicken is delicious & the buffalo chicken is a true Buffalo classic! So crispy and super easy to re-heat, I threw mine in the air fryer and they crisped up perfectly. Support local small business and check them out!

Let me tell you! I’m so excited that I found this place, even with their limited hours it doesn’t matter, these dumplings are on point! I bought so many frozen ones to bring home, and I just cooked my first set of sesame seed dumplings, and I cooked them in the air fryer and they’re super delicious, but now I need a steamer because now I want to steam the rest of my dumplings lol!! The owner was kind and gracious to me. She treated me as if I was someone she had known for years. I will definitely be going back, and my only complaint is that I wish they were open full-time and a full service restaurant. I would be there weekly! Much love to the owner!!

I absolutely love Moneybags Dumplings! I feel the need to get them whenever they’re available at an outdoor market, and I almost always keep them in the house as a freezer item in case dinner doesn’t go as planned or to even add onto another another dish! I’ve tried almost every type of dumpling they offer and my two favorites are the Sambal Chicken and Soy Shroom. If you haven’t had them yet, you are seriously missing out! I placed a catering order from moneybag dumplings for a work event and received the worst service. Before the event, we asked for an invoice that felt like pulling teeth to get as we had to reach out multiple times to get one. The day of the event, the delivery was 45 minutes late, the owner left the delivery with unauthorized people (thankfully they were a part of the event, but had they not been then random people would have had our food), and left immediately without speaking to me, almost as if she was trying to duck from me. While the food was hot and good, the professionalism was lacking. Our order did not come with a receipt, and we have been reaching out for weeks to get one, but the owner has not been answering emails or the phone. The one email she did respond to she said she would send over an email, but nothing happened. We have continuously reached out for a receipt as we have to submit to our accounting department, but have been unsuccessful. We try ordering from local businesses for our events, and have had great experiences. However, the treatment from Moneybag Dumplings has left us extremely disappointed, and we would rather support other businesses who have respected our time, money, and openly communicated with us. I’m honestly leaving this review because I’m hoping we’ll finally get a receipt from them, as contacting them directly does nothing.
