First the wings were perfectly cooked. Crispy outside, very tender and juicy on the inside. The sauce, despite being molten lava flavored was actually delicious and savory with a meaty, slightly smokey taste (for the 5 seconds I could taste it before the hell fire burning kicked in). I finished the meal in 9 minutes with a refreshing, ice cold milk and a perfectly chilled Mojito chaser.
The service was fast, friendly and very attentive. Frequent checks of the table, refills and a great cheering section for the challenge in progress. Our server Gabriel even went out of his way to award me extra win swag for “being the first person he’s ever seen get past two wings”! The food came out fast, hot and on spot, no mistakes!
The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing with servers and other patrons treating everyone like old friends or family. A real delight to dine there.
Im unsure if they’re open to the general public anymore, best to call before you go, but I highly recommend the Rawhide Steakhouse for a meal and experience you won’t forget!

It’s a public / private event center… Able to accommodate from 10-10,000 people.
It has a western theme atmosphere with a western town look…much like Old Tucson, except this is not an entertainment attraction, but an event center for specific events.
We came in from the south and goggle maps had a hard time locating the actual entrance, but with a little driving, we found it finally.
Coming in from the north should present no problems I think, cause the entrance is quite accessible..
We went for a private event, the ASU Wrestling Team end of the year banquet, so the only facility that was used was their large dinning hall with it’s small stage and kitchen.
The meal was sponsored and served by volunteers so it was truly a private event with only the physical building being utilized.
Rawhide was an excellent place for a banquet of the type planned and it could be for other groups as well, depending on what their needs are.
We had an enjoyable time and look forward to repeating it again next year cause this is the venue the team usually chooses.
My only complaint would be that there should be better lighting in the parking lot as it was basically dark when we left…and considering it’s a western atmosphere with dirt for the vast majority of the ground… better lighting would certainly help.
Waitress was super nice and kept drinks full.
