Amy’s Taqueria and Carniceria is hands down the best Mexican food in Old River-Winfree! Everything is fresh, flavorful, and made with care. The tacos are packed with perfectly seasoned meat, the tortillas are amazing, and the salsas have just the right kick. You can truly taste the authenticity in every bite.
The carnicería is top-notch as well high-quality meats and great options for cooking at home. On top of the incredible food, the staff is friendly and welcoming, making you feel like family every time you walk in. If you’re craving real, delicious Mexican food, this is the place to go. Used to love the place and brag about the owner Amy some of the the employees are great others not so much..I have been getting the same stuff el pator with bean picco and quaso fresco for year for 3.50 a piece now just for a little sprinkle of picco they want .50 for each taco and I mean a sprinkle cause you dont even taste the picco so I will have to find another place that dont price galg now

I love the breakfast tacos here. Sometimes we have issues if Any isn’t the one in the kitchen but if she is you can guarantee that you are about to have the best breakfast tacos. My husband is a fan of their red and green sauce. He races that their pico is amazing as well. We have a tradition of getting tacos about once a week and either going to the river or the city park in Mont belvieu. Their service is also fairly quick, especially if you call ahead.
