I had a wonderful experience at Chez Daniel! The mussels were absolutely delicious, and the squash soup special was really flavorful — definitely worth trying. The steak was a little on the chewy side but still tasty and well-seasoned.
What really stood out was the service.
Another big plus: they don’t close for an afternoon break on Sundays like many other restaurants, which makes it super convenient.
Overall, great food, warm service, and a welcoming atmosphere. I’d happily come back!

We stopped here for lunch and it turned out to be an amazing decision! They kindly let me order from their dinner menu, which I really appreciated since I’m not the biggest fan of sandwiches. I had the ribs with potatoes and they were absolutely delicious. The meat was so tender it just fell apart with a touch, and the demi-glace sauce was rich and flavorful. On top of the ribs they added crispy bacon mixed with onions – the perfect finishing touch!
My boyfriend ordered the French onion burger and he really enjoyed it too. He even said he wishes there were more places like this in our area. The atmosphere on the terrace was wonderful – plenty of sunshine, a cozy autumn city vibe, and fun Halloween decorations.

Cozy little French restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating options right in the heart of Frenchtown. Definitely a must go if you’re in the mood for some French food. High quality ingredients and a lot of love in the food!
French Onion soup is a classic and they nailed it with a deep onion flavor and a nice portion of bread on top. Hamburger was phenomenal as well and had a very Smokey taste. Fish and Chips were great, but not my favorite.
Desert was definitely the star of the show with a delicious crème brûlée and fruit tart. Both just melted in your mouth.

I went with my husband and a friend on a Sunday evening and we loved it. Everything was really tasty and the staff is friendly. Daniel and the other guys are amazing! And of course, a shout out to the kitchen staff who makes that delicious food!

We stopped in for an early dinner after a visit to a local winery. What a great little place! Food was delicious and came out hot and fresh! I had the steak frites, the steak was a perfect medium rare and even the green beans were cooked perfect and hot. My wife ordered the fish and chips and was impressed with the tender meatiness of the cod. The batter was crisp and hot without overwhelming the freshness of the fish. This was our first time here so just beware no cocktails or beer it is BYOB only but well worth a visit.

I wanted to go there since I saw Steak Au pouvire on their menu. We went for dinner and I didn’t see it on the menu?? The waitress forgot to mention it was on the Specials, do I ended up with a burger for Birthday Dinner. The burgers are a nice buy for the money. I did hear the lady near me liking the crab cake. I did so want the steak its hard to find out here! Oh well..

Just opened in March 1st, so my general rule is not to try a restaurant until the kinks have been worked out. It’s a great casual lunch or dinner place. The food was good! It’s byob, so that helps with the bill. Food was reasonably priced and what we had was good. Server tried, she was clearly inexperienced, but none the less, she did a good job. Hey, you have to start some where! Hats off to the chef who helped out in the front of the house, when he was not busy. Nice outdoor seating, when the weather warms up!
