One of those “must tries” while in Milwaukee…. the custard was pretty darn good. The onion rings seem to be frozen out of the box :/ The burger was OK. The bun kind of fell apart when you started eating it…. The kids that were working all seemed to have good attitudes and seemed to be doing a really good job. very fast service!

Out of the hundreds of trips we’ve made through Milwaukee over the years, this is the first time we’ve discovered Kopp’s Frozen Custard.
We were greeted by Suliany , who was personable, efficient, and helped us make our meal choices. She was knowledgeable about the various selections and spoke thoughtfully regarding our questions.
The restaurant was clean and well organized and the large team of employees were on task with their various duties working with smiling faces. The restroom was clean, too.
As for the food, it was fresh, tasty, and hot. There is no skimping on quality here. We ordered a grilled chicken sandwich, a hamburger, and onion rings along with a hot fudge/ raspberry malt and a strawberry malt. They were full of fruit and prepared with the appropriate thickness to pass comfotably through the straws,; not too thin, not too thick, but perfect.
The dining area only held three bar tables, no stools, so you had to stand while you ate, which is not ideal for someone who is physically challenged. Almost everyone there had placed their orders to go. We dined in. In the summer months, they have a slew of concrete benches in a parklike setting here at their Greenfield location.
If you’re looking for a fastfood meal that serves quality meals and drinks, this is the place you should check out. They’re wonderful, serving quality meals that all the others fail to serve. You won’t be disappointed. We certainly weren’t!

It melts quickly because it is so fresh so eat quickly! But a single scoop was plenty! We decided not to drive and just take a few minutes to enjoy it totally. You can’t visiting Milwaukee without a stop at Kopp’s the daily change in flavors with real chunks Even though we ended up with a vanilla cup. My first Kopp’s experience was memorable. There are several of the Kopp’s Custard Stands around Milwaukee. They all have excellent custards which can expand your outlook if over indulged. The custard is very creamy and they serve. 100% recommend!

What a fantastic place for a tasty treat or delicious sandwich. The grilled chicken sandwiches and the burgers are great. The custard is delicious. The staff is friendly and informative. There isn’t a lot of seating, but you can sit in the courtyard or get it to go.

Kopp’s Frozen Custard serves the best frozen custard in the state of Wisconsin in my opinion. When getting custard they give generous portions on their cones. They do a daily flavor as well as a daily Sundea. The Kopps location in Greenfield Wisconsin was visited by Hugh Jackman for a promotion for the film “Song Sung Blue” which was a real treat for people who were there seeing him serve cones. The hamburgers they serve are also of note, because they are large, perfectly cooked and juicy, and taste amazing. Both burgers and custard should never be missed!

Everything was wonderful. Terrific, large sized burger that was so tasty. I got the onion rings which were better than the fries. And the Peach Melba custard was fantastic. If you’re an out of towner, there’s no place to sit unless it’s warm outside (no tables then). Just a few high tops with no seats inside. Loved the experience!

I’ve lived in Wisconsin for seven years, and today was my first time at Kopp’s. First off, for a restaurant that’s been around this long, it was absolutely spotless. I loved how clean everything was.
Holly and the rest of the staff were working hard, yet everyone had a smile on their face — that really stood out. The bacon cheeseburger was definitely messy, but hands down one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time. The fries were great too.
And even though it was 7 degrees outside, I couldn’t resist taking home a quart of Rasmataz frozen custard — raspberry, chocolate bits, and marshmallow fluff. Totally worth it.
I’ll definitely be back, especially with friends visiting from Chicago. I have to show them the go-to spot in Milwaukee. Thanks to the awesome crew at Kopp’s!
