Social Profile:

The Good Earth Farm is set on 30 acres surrounded by the prairie. On the farm you will find a renovated 1890’s barn, rescue animals, sustainably grown vegetables, pumpkins, honey bees, and more. We are a seasonal business opening in the Spring when Mother Nature allows and closing in October. Join us for our artisan woodfired pizzas. Our pizza crusts are topped with ingredients from the farm and other local growers when we can to create unique flavor combinations. Host an event to remember! The space is great for small weddings, corporate gatherings, and family reunions.

Thank you again for an absolutely fantastic company picnic at The Good Earth Farm! The lawyers and staff at Davenport Evans Law Firm had the best party we’ve had in years! And here I was worried about the drive. The layout of your outdoor and indoor spaces was so welcoming. Perfect for eating and visiting, and for kids to explore and play. And the bathrooms were great! That’s important! Your team were all so nice and accommodating, and the pizzas – forget about it. SO good! You all just made us feel so welcome and peaceful. Home run, folks. THANK YOU so much!

Unique, on the farm restaurant that focuses on wood-fired pizza. Very good pizza. Super family friendly with large, open space outdoor dining. A great place to take the family on a lovely fall evening.

I have a sound and lighting business called Sound Made Simple. I recently did the sound and lighting for a wedding at the Good Earth Farm Barn. I can’t say enough good things about the venue, the location, and the owners!

The barn is absolute stunning! The owners, Jeff and Nancy, have done a remarkable job restoring and renovating a timeless relic of prairie history and landscape and breathed new life into its beams and boards. While I was setting up for the wedding, I was thinking of how the barn has been used over the years and how it’s now this fabulous place for family and friends to gather in celebration, thanks to Jeff and Nancy’s vision and efforts.

At this particular wedding, the ceremony was upstairs in the loft which was absolutely beautiful and comfortably held the 100(ish) guests present. A wide ramp provides handicapped accessibility and made loading my sound equipment in and out of the loft a breeze. Outside the door to the loft and at the top end of the ramp, there’s an outside seating area which provides a relaxing outdoor space for guests before and after the ceremony and during the dance, with a beautiful of the pasture and surrounding fields. The dinner was downstairs in the bar area, which has the original stone foundations walls and a wood floor, installed by the owners. The downstairs is rustic and amazingly elegant at the same time thanks to the owners’ attention to detail and great style. The dance took place back upstairs in the loft, which is gorgeous when the setting sun streams through the stain glass window in the west wall.

Jeff and Nancy are so easy to work, accommodating, and down to earth, which as a vendor, makes my job so smooth and more enjoyable!

The location is great, just a few miles south of Lennox and 25ish minutes from Sioux Falls. It’s an easy-to-find venue, right on a paved road, but far enough in the country to feel like you’ve been transported to another time and place.

I highly recommend checking out the Good Earth Farm Barn for your event! You won’t be disappointed!

(Also, I ran the sound for a couple of the Good Earth Farm Open Mic Night / Pizza Nights this past summer. The pizza Jeff and Nancy make during their pizza nights at the farm is seriously the best I’ve eaten in my entire life!)

The pizza was fantastic! Everyone there genuinely appears to love being there and interacting with the patrons.

Atmosphere wise it’s a very cute farm that offers pizza, you pick flowers, drinks including alcoholic options, yard games, and there are farm animals to see/feed.

Most definitely worth the trip!

We visited the Good Earth Farm as our school fundraiser was being held there. A wonderful location for kids to be able to roam about, see the animals, or play the lawn games and soccer that was set up in the open lawn space. The pizza was delicious, and they had gluten free crusts available! It was a wonderful experience and I look forward to visiting again.

Good Earth Farm hosted a 3 day yoga retreat that I attended. The scenery was amazing and we got to partake in their homemade wood fired pizza, which was also delicious. It was great to walk around and see the animals (and feed them). I am looking forward to coming back in the summer for pizza and lawn games.
