This place is open 20 hours a day from 10 AM to 6 AM so lunch, dinner, late night, and after bars close they’ve got you covered. I was there around 8 PM on a Sunday. This place was really busy and looked like 50% gig work delivery and 50% order there for take out as I did. I stood for 5-10 minutes before being acknowledged. The customer service skills are not ideal.

There were four people working and I interacted with all and there’s definitely a language barrier. I’m not sure if the first one spoke much English and basically told me to wait. The next one spoke very little English, he tried to take my order, but he didn’t know how to operate the point of sale so he went for help. The third person was able to take my order, and had a little more English skills, but I didn’t dare ask for any modifications to the order. The fourth person who seemed like he was in charge came out from the back to help and was bilingual and spoke clear English to customers and another language which I was not familiar to the other three workers. That said, once engaged with me, they were courteous.

There is no place to sit, so if you wanted to eat there it would be at the counter along the window. I ate in my vehicle.

One worker was clearly sick, wearing a black surgical mask (and we know how well those work) coughing while preparing and packing food. Another worker also had a black surgical mask on but was not coughing.

As for the food, I didn’t wait too long once I placed my order. You can see them making your food. The place is small, I don’t think the hood vent fan was working because I didn’t hear it and the place was smoked up with fryer grease smell and grilled burger smoke. I don’t know how the workers can take it all day. I was bothered while I was in there.

As for the food itself…

The burgers were relatively large, probably 1/4 to 1/3 pound tender and juicy patty, they put a good amount of mayo on it and diced green peppers and onions which was unique and helped give the burgers a pretty good taste.

The potato wedges were crispy and tossed in a little Old Bay style seasoning which was enjoyable.

The chili cheese fries were supposed to be with fries but they used wedges so it wasn’t as pictured or as I ordered. The chili was mostly beans and way too salty so I’d avoid the chili there.

The best food item was the chicken sub which gave me state fair vibes. Greasy, delicious, diced onions and tomatoes with cheese on. soft sub roll.

They packed up the food nice and neat and then packed orderly in a plastic bag which was well done as the food could easily have been messy.

I may come back and if I do I would get a small order of wedges and the chicken sub, however I’m curious how the cheesesteak or chopped cheese subs are so I would probably give those a try too.

I asked for a jumbo shrimp platter with a fish po boy and it came to over $32. The price isnt the problem. I got home and it wasn’t the jumbo shrimp platter the shrimp were small. The potato wedges we surprisingly amazing.

My husband went to this place three females were there cooking. The order was a double cheeseburger with fries, and some called “medium shrimps “ with fries. The cheeseburger with fries was good but then shrimps and French fries were not good. The shrimps were over cooked to the point it tasted like rubber. Besides that there was some old shrimps looking in the food.

We ordered Door Dash. The Catfish Basket was so horrible. All the skin on the fish was off or falling off as I picked it up. There was no salt on either the fish or those fries. The fish had like a sweet after taste and everything was either fried too long or that grease needed to be changed. Also I know what Catfish looks and tasted like and this was for sure Swai. The Okra looked dark almost black and was not fried well at all. Most of it was stuck together in a huge ball and of course all the breading around it was falling off. The Chicken Wings Ding Basket sucked as well. When you receive fried food you expect for it to be fried golden brown or be slightly darker but everything was almost black in color with the skin falling off with the exception of the chicken. Maybe I’ll try other items on the menu but nothing we got even looked like the pictures on the site. When you spend your money you expect great quality food. Please take these deceitful pictures down of your food and put the REAL pics up of what you serve customers. Whoever was cooking in the kitchen on 3/27 between 9-11pm cannot cook and if this person is in there cooking everyday please leave a comment and let me know.

I just spent over $30 here (not sure why it says $10-20), expecting the food to be delicious. Being from the South, I know and love catfish. Unfortunately, the fish was very dry and thready. I’m not sure if it had been sitting out for a while, but it was not good.

I also ordered a burger, and it tasted like a generic charbroiled Burger King burger. It wasn’t very lean, as I could taste a lot of gristle while eating it.

The last item I tried was the chili cheese fries. It seemed like they simply placed a slice of cheese on top of the fries with a large amount of chili, and the fries themselves tasted freezer-burnt.

I’m sorry to say this, but this was the worst food I’ve ever had in upstate New York.

Good for the price. Staff didn’t welcome us when we came in, only continue to work while staring at us until we were ready to order. Food came out quick, to go packaging was sufficient. We ate our food within 10 minutes of picking it up but most everything was already soggy. Sweet potato fries were soggy and unsalted, but tasty. Cheeseburger was flavorful and saucy. Shrimp poboy was soggy but flavorful. Regular fries come very seasoned but delicious. Overall the food tasted really good and exceeded expectations for this tiny side of the road restaurant. 4 stars due to the unwelcoming staff.
