Amazing atmosphere, good menu and food.
Only thing I would say is they didnt actually come and give us a jug or water or refill it for us we kinda were just given glasses haha. Will say the beef is a bit chewy but thats probably just my opinion. My partner and I loved it. Keep up the good work.

Had such a great experience here! The service was warm, friendly and attentive throughout our visit. The staff made us feel genuinely welcome.
The portion sizes were incredibly generous — definitely “eyes bigger than stomach” on our part! Everything we ordered was beautifully presented and full of flavor.
The atmosphere is elegant and stylish. Honestly, it’s the only place I’ve seen in Hamilton that feels this close to a fine-dining Chinese restaurant. It’s fancy without being uncomfortable.

Food is consistently good ! My go to family gatherings for a dinner. The lemon chicken, eggplant and duck are my favorite dishes.
Music can sometimes be loud on a quiet day. They don’t give bowls, only plates so you have to ask for it.

Food was great, good value for money. We loved the beef brisket soup. Hubby and I went there to celebrate our anniversary and we enjoyed every bit of it. The staff was friendly, accommodated for my allergies. The place could use some soft music to match the aesthetic, either than that all was lovely.

Went to Shanghai in SkyCity for the first time last Sunday for my birthday lunch and had a really enjoyable experience.
To be honest I have no idea what exactly my Dad booked, but holy moly I have never seen so much food in my life. They just kept bringing more and more out, so much so that we had multiple bags to take away (can’t complain, love leftovers!)
I’d say the Peking Duck was my personal fav. Both assembling and eating the wraps was amazing. All I could have asked for, great time.

Lunchtime stop, first time for a while since I had ordered from this restaurant. Staff were very polite and answered all of our questions. We started off sitting inside the restaurant but moved to the balcony seats (beautiful day). If you like to have a bit of a spin on the machines, most certainly a place for you , for us, it was more of lets just enjoy the moment and beautiful food. The only thing I should mention they do not offer takehome containers, so order well.

Hands down best Chinese we’ve had in a while. Neat and tidy restaurant, friendly service and beautiful presentation. Located inside SkyCity casino.
First time we visited in December 2023 during our trip to NZ and fell in love with their food.
Searched all over Sydney AU trying to find dishes as good as this restaurant served, but no luck.
Luckily we have returned to NZ this year as well and drove all the way to Hamilton just to have lunch there, ended up booking dinner for another day as well. Thanks team!

Got to be the best Chinese I’ve ever had freshly cooked food, clean restaurant great friendly service, wish I’d tried it ages ago will differently be going regularly. Ordered 18 dumpling, won ton, sweet and sour pork for two people and took takeaways couldn’t eat anymore for $64 great value.
