Food was delicious. I went there during slow time. Menu items are limited but still a good few choices
EDITED after the new change in management and design I don’t know what happened to this delicious place. Food flavor still great but the food portions are just not there. I got the chicken biryani and I got this huge bowl of rice with 2 pieces of chicken. While I was eating I noticed 3 customer walk away when they saw the new change in design and menu.

POOOOOOR SERVICE, Its a bad experience I had with the PDX Bawarchi couple of times, They are serving a ULAVACHARU biryani’s which I like very much, July 22nd night around 9.35 PM my wife ordered ULAVACHARU chicken65 biryani over the phone and picked up at 9.55 PM, After reaching home with a bit excitement opened the box around 10.15 PM and surprisingly got biryani WITHOUT ULAVACHARU, Next day we called PDX Bawarchi and explained what happened, He asking to get back the biryani to hotel after we saw there is no ULAVACHARU, [They closes at 10 PM and how could I call or return the biryani at 10.15 PM, Thought of return that biryani next day morning but where should I get the biryani at that time?] This doesn’t make any sense to me to call them after closing hours to return the biryani. This is not a the first time, I had same experience couple of months ago. This is really really bad customer service.

I am always impressed with the lunch box buffet to go. The portions are reasonable and very filling, sometimes they will even load you up with extras because they portion it themselves when you take it to go. Raj is the best too, he is always friendly and informative. The selection rotates daily as far as I can tell, and I’d love to dine in for the buffet more often. I’ve only had dinner here once but it was wonderful. Hot food, nice variety, flavours on point, pleasant atmosphere. Would eat here every day if I could.

Small Indian place. I had the buffet. The tandoori chicken wasn’t colored red (a good sign), the spices were well crafted (not one note), and the food seemed to be prepared as if it weren’t a buffet (another good sign). I enjoyed the whole experience, but I wasn’t paying so I’m not sure what the prices were. Good food overall.

Only had good experiences here. Surprised by some of the other reviews. I usually call in a takeout order on evenings when I’m too tired to cook. They are fast and give generous portions, especially with meats – while I’ve felt a little cheated by other Indian places in the area. Really nice dude who always cashes me out. I want to try the lunch buffet sometime.

Used to be my absolute favorite Indian place and I recommended it to many. Ate in almost every week and took out lunch boxes too. After the change in name and management, the food is still quite good but portions got waaaay skimpier. The last couple of times we got the lunch box, we were appalled at how tiny the portions were… even if you go in at the end of lunch time and see them throwing the buffet stuff away, they give you one tiny scoop per section of the container. And this for a long-time customer!!! Even Raj isn’t as friendly as he used to be — he used to smile a lot and be super friendly. Now he always seems hurried and too busy to even smile. This place has really gone downhill. Sad.

Best mid-range Indian restaurant in the Tanasbourne area. Their buffet always offers a new option or two that I’ve never had at another restaurant. Everything is yum.

Place is improved for few dishes. It started great with good Biryani, lately they are using more oil and very obvious in the taste.

I went for buffet they didn’t provide dosa like last times plus the food was tasteless and awful. I am not sure what happened if their regular cook was not working today. Some of the food had smell in it and didn’t felt fresh. I had better experience here in the past but gradually for last few visits felt like the taste were not good as before and today was the worst there was not one single item in the buffet which taste fresh and good. Very disappointed.
