As a mom of four and a world traveler, Trisha has had the joy of experiencing diverse cuisines and unique dishes. She is blessed to head operations and prides herself in being the official taste tester, ensuring that you are equally content with every bite. We’ve decided to share delights like marinated meats, tostones and yuca with you. Our goal is to inspire you to venture out with your tastebuds, to experience the rich flavors of the Republica.

Insanely good food for how simple it is. La Bandera sample sold me instantly. Very rich flavor with the right amount of sweet and savory. Even the rice was cooked to perfection. HUGE portions. Flagged this one on our trip to Bend, so glad we did! I was excited about a food truck serving up something different and it hit! Super nice father son team, they were dishing out samples before we could even check out the menu. I got the chicarrones with the tostones which was dope! My only wish is they had more traditional Dominican offerings on the menu. Definitely check them out if you get a chance.

Do you know when you visit a small business and they do everything they can to make sure you enjoy your visit? That’s what this crew does. The food was bomb. They were hanging out free samples and their beef was so good. Make sure to try their fry sauce. I would have added a pic, but I devoured it.

I am digging Dogwood At The Pine Shed! For my first visit I tried the Dominican Food Cart. And wow!! So tasty! Trisha and Robert have a great thing going on with their new food truck and I hope Bend gives them lots of love and support! Their pork sandwich is PACKED with delicious goodness, including lots of meat, pickles, fresh/crispy lettuce, tomato and red onion slices, plus some awesome sauce and an amazing bun! Go for the plantains (tostones) for something different than fries. I also highly recommend the Beesting from the taproom—if you like spicy tequila drinks, you’ll love this! ️

WOW! This is our new favorite food cart in Bend. My husband and I split the La Bandera and Chicharron plates. Everything was fantastic – the flavors, the portion sizes, the service – everything! Our favorite plate was La Bandera. The owners were so incredibly kind (and happily accommodated my food allergies!). And the new space at Dogwood is lovely. We will definitely be back soon!
