Random road trip, in a random town, in a random bar = The Texas Experience
This place is clean and organized. We got in on steak night and it did not disappoint. 12 oz ribeye, mashed potatoes and a great spicy green beans all for $30! Nothing can beat it. And oh yeah, can’t forget about the boudin balls, possibly the best I’ve ever had. It’s seasoned and fried just right.
The server, Candy was really nice and friendly. Very hospitable and checked on us often.
Definitely a must visit if you’re ever in the area.

I absolutely loved it here! Great atmosphere! Super friendly and helpful bar tender. And a great burger! My Ice Tea cup never got empty, which I appreciate so much! I’ll come back here next time I’m in the area!

Good burgers with fries and served with ranch dressing on the side. The fried mushrooms were excellent and served with ranch. The young lady waiting was very friendly and efficient. The beer was cold. Since it was cold we were inside and though we’d heard it could be quite smokey, it wasn’t too bad.

Went in to order some dinner to go, went to the left building to order so we don’t have to smell the smoke at the bar, went to the window and the girl said…..we are busy over here with food can you go order at the bar. There was 3 cars outside and no one in the game room. Didn’t seem like she wanted to wait on us so we left and went down the street to reverend jims for a burger and were treated so good there. Probably won’t be back.

My husband and I have gone to the Big Easy Saloon several times now. We love the atmosphere and the staff are so welcoming. We have ordered food from the menu and have yet to be disappointed. It’s got a great vibe, live music on Friday nights, a game room for the kids to enjoy. Just an all around fun experience!
