First time I ordered from here in years. Egg drop wonton soup, steamed dumplings and Four Seasons. The soup itself was good but the wontons were overcooked dough wrapped around tasteless protein. The dumplings were pretty much the same. I think the dumplings were steamed by putting them in the microwave. The lid on the sauce container was melted. The Four Seasons entree was good with properly cooked vegetables and tasteful sauce. The rice was in the same category as the wontons and dumplings. I will continue to drive past this place to the next one down the road for Chinese food.

Even by the standards of Americanized Chinese takeout, this place is lacking. The meal we just finished (which will likely be our last) featured cold, crunchy peas and undercooked rice.
Miffed that we ordered a large vegetable lo mein and were given the lunch special – this meant a whole bunch of bland fried rice and a little bit of lo mein. (More importantly, who pairs lo mein with rice? “Ah, this pile of carbs needs more carbs.”)
So, lower your expectations and check everything before you leave.

I always order take out when I am passing through the Kennett area on Route 1 during the hours they are open. My standard order is Vegetable Lo Mein and General Tsoa’s Tofu (extra spicy).
The portions are plenty and the food is delicious.

Wow! I wish we would have tried this place sooner. We got the lunch specials and they were very flavorful with just the right amount of spice/heat. My husband ate all of his, and I had enough for two meals. We’ll be going back whenever we visit Longwood Gardens.

For almost $20 I felt cheated. Smallest portions ever – I am 134 pounds and not a hog. All of the good reviews I thought let me try it. I ate in – the whole place inside is dirty. The door, the walls, and the counter. The kitchen seemed clean. The Staff were very unfriendly and seemed bothered by customers. Hard no for me in the future. Just a dirty place in the wall with the worst chicken and broccoli ever.

We go here sometimes. The food is ok and prices have gone up but so has everywhere. They get the order correct almost all of the time. We’ve noticed a decline in things though like when you order a spring roll you would get 2 but now it’s only 1. All in all it’s kind of a standard place with very average food, but it used to be seemingly better quality and such.

Took a take out from here. We ordered fried chicken dumplings but we got steamed dumplings and the dumpling wrap was very thick.
We also ordered chicken fried rice, shrimp lo mein , house fried rice. Everything tasted really good. Would love to visit again.

Easily the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. Sesame chicken was dry and rubbery, the fried rice had the textured of refrigerated and reheated rice, and the shrimp spring rolls were overcooked. Fortunately the crab Rangoon was decent so I actually had something to eat
