Great food & drinks. The views are awesome, mountains, prarie, reservoir with islands. There’s great rock formations everywhere, hiking, biking, fishing, and kayaking. Lots of camp sites, rental cabins, bathrooms, haha. It’s not overly crowded, so there are plenty of places to explore & find yourself.

Rich and his wife are awesome. The area is awesome. We called like 20 min to see if there was a spot available for two toy haulers. These guys are so fun and so cool. Wish we were staying longer. Missed prime rib night by one day.
The lake was so fun for kids and paddle boards. So quiet and convenient. The little ice cream shop is awesome. 10 stars if I could rate it. These guys are more than accommodating.

What a find! Looking for lunch between Laramie and Thermopolis and came across this. Lovely outside patio overlooking the Marina. Nice choices for lunch and a super waitress/cook/information person. Delightful. Even a few friendly dogs for entertainment. Lake looked lovely and she said they had a pontoon boat for rent but we were just passing through. Very pretty place. Guy came in on his bike and must have enjoyed the beautiful breath taking ride. We sure did

They pretty much get everything for a marina in the middle of nowhere. Looks like nice camping spots

Our party of three each had different lunch menu items, and we all enjoyed our meal. The service was excellent, and the patio overlooking the reservoir provided a pleasurable atmosphere. We arrived by boat, and we will return . The “Sloshies” were a great beverage choice.

The scenery and our server were great, however that is about all that was great. I purchased an $19 burger and asked for it medium. The burger came out well done with way way too much salt ! I told my server and they did not offer to help in anyway at all.. the cook came out and i told her my server is very nice but unfortunately the food was horrible.. The $13 sloshi tasted like it had 0 alcohol in it. I know people say that about drinks all the time but seriously, it tasted like a frozen lemonade which was very good, however very minimal alcohol. Our ticket was $70 for just 2 people. I have never had such over priced horrible food before.. the restaurant has the ability to be great but the execution was poor.. Overall the experience was not favorable at all. I will be back to the lake and Marina, however I will not be purchasing food there again.

After a day at the lake with my family, we decided to stop into the marina for dinner. We ordered appetizers and food for us all, and surprisingly enough it was fairly fast. The service at the table wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t great. We were never given silverware with our food, and had to go up to the front desk when we just got tired of waiting for it. After food, we were browsing through the small shop for an infant life jacket. The life jacket costed 72.99, which was expected. Once we finished our meal, and received our ticket we noticed that the life jacket was added to the bill, not a problem, in fact it made it easier to pay for. After taking a closer look, we realized that for a table of 4 they automatically charged 20% gratuity. That seemed a little extreme considering we didn’t even get silverware, not to mention we didn’t think it was reasonable to pay gratuity on a life jacket. We asked our server if she could split the ticket, and have the life jacket separate, which was no problem at all. We then proceeded to pay for dinner using a card, and the life jacket we paid with cash. They excepted both payments, told us to have a nice night and we went on our way. The following day, we got a 2 personal messages on Facebook asking if we were at the Marina the evening before. We thought that was strange, so we didn’t answer it. Then, we called the owner using the landline asking about the messages. After a conversation on the phone, we had explained to her that we paid cash for the jacket, and it was in a separate ticket. She argued back and said we only gave them 14 dollars and that it was a tip, so she put it in the tip jar. We couldn’t stress enough that we did in fact pay for the life jacket because they excepted the cash, and card payment with no problems (not to mention how do you get 14 dollars from a 77 dollar payment.) The owner was determined that we didn’t pay for it, and to avoid further issues, we had to give a card number over the phone so that they could receive a payment for the life jacket. When it was all said and done, this 72 dollar jacket ended up costing us 154 dollars plus a 14 dollar “tip” they did not deserve. Needless to say, we will never be back and the experience overall was less than decent.

Last time I ever support this place was today. After ordering 4 drinks, few gatorades, sunscreen ($50) was told by a worker we could fill some water bottles. Few moments later a disgustingly rude gal came out and proceeded to tell a PREGNANT women she could not fill a water bottle. I asked, “you’ve got a limited supply of water?” She proceeded to raise her voice and rip me a new one to tell me that water was reserved for ice for their alcoholic drinks. It was so uncomfortable for everyone, the co-worker even apologized for the situation. This place had been greedy in a few other instances. It’s a shame, I’m sure my inconsistence business won’t hurt them, but hoping other people see this and would choose to do the same!
