I’ve never had authentic Haitian cuisine before and had an absolutely wonderful experience dining here! A very gracious owner, cool atmosphere (they even have couches where you can dine & relax). The food was cooked perfectly and was delicious. The owner let us play our own music and even gave me a complimentary smoothie drink when leaving, let’s not forget about the Prestige Haitian Beer. What a fantastic and unexpected experience! Thank you!

Food is delicious…if you want authentic Haitian cuisine I highly recommend this restaurant. My food was cooked fresh while I waited. The owners are wonderful people who care about their customers and the food that they are serving. I cant express how much I enjoyed the atmosphere and the great hospitality. My grandson had fried chicken,it was horrible it was so fried there was no meat on it,very crispy,my husband had chicken and black rice it came with salad fried plantains, lettuce tomatoes and cucumber,chicken was over cooked, I had oxtail it was delicious!!!! Bathroom was clean but no paper towels, never came back had to get to go boxes our self other than that it was ok.

Warning don’t do it !!!! Trying to figure out how they get 4.7 Stars people need to stop lying the worst food I had in years. No seasoning no flavor don’t waste your money I threw the whole plane in the garbage. Couldn’t force myself to eat it……

The Oxtails and the Red Snapper very, very good. I ordered for me the Oxtails with black rice and beans and ordered Red Snapper with black rice for my wife,all comes with 3 plantains.The food is worth the price. If I’m ever back in Waterloo,IA I will definitely order from them again.
