Do not order the tenderloin. It is square shaped and is super thin, all you can taste is old grease. They don’t serve it with anything, just the sad looking tenderloin and a bun. I had to ask for some onions. They won’t let you pay a bit extra to get onion rings instead of fries. I did pay the full price for the onion rings but they were NOT good. They were cold, there was hardly any onion in them, very thin slivers of onion, all you could taste was the cold breading. Save your money and your stomach and go somewhere else.

Ted’s Garage has been remodeled since my last visit. It used to have more of a classic diner vibe, but now it feels more like a modern restaurant with additional and more private seating, which I prefer. They have a good amount of parking and overflow parking across the street. The staff was friendly, attentive, and fast, and you really can’t go wrong with any of the horseshoes. emergency. It’s been a horrible day. Visiting Ted’s was the only glimmer of peace! I HAVE to write a review. The price? Affordable! The service? Far above of what you might expect from a lil town! I’m so glad I skipped the place before this. Jose at the bar made my day – as well as the regulars. Oh I just tried the food.

The new decor and remodeling is comfortable and has a feeling of warmth. Service is outstanding as usual and food quality/variety is great. Try the quesadilla stuffed with sautéed spinach and onions, along with feta cheese with a side of sour cream. Wonderful!

I typically visit here for breakfast but my wife had an unpleasant experience while ordering carryout this last time where the staff was audibly annoyed over the phone that they had to take a phone call for an order.
That’s your job. You’re there to take orders. If you don’t want to work there or assist in your own duties, then don’t work there. Giving a 2/5 simply because the professionalism just was not there and was disappointed in how the staff acted. Do better, please, with how your staff treats customers on the phone.

We had a repeat issue with service and staff just being genuinely unhelpful. It seems this applies to only 1 or 2 staff members that seem to just not like being there or helping customers. The lack of general welcoming and getting things handled from a “Joy” there really makes the establishment joyless. Some staff are helpful, but some are just rude and/or not a joy to interact with.
Please handle this. I just lowered my rating again due to this.

Too bad they got rid of the broiled salmon from the menu. They have salmon but it is served over mashed potatoes with corn and asparagus. Sounds like the salmon is smothered with all this. It may be good , but I really liked the salmon with baked potato without all the other things.

Let me start by saying the food was fantastic!!! This was our first time going to Ted’s.I had the hamburger horseshoe there was a pile of fries and cheese, it was so good!!! My patty was pink in the middle but I just ate around the pink areas. The service was awful… Our server didn’t ask us if we wanted appetizers or if we had been there before or had questions about the menu. She came to the table and said ‘What do you want to drink’….She took our drink order and then came back and took our food order. She also never asked about desserts….which we were going to order but changed our mind. She did not have a very friendly/outgoing personality that is required to be a good server.

My wife is diabetic and wanted their coleslaw instead of fries. The waitress was very rude and said that’s a dinner menu item and she couldn’t have it. You have to make exceptions for people on restricted diets. How hard is it to scoop out some coleslaw.
The owner talked to my wife. And we got a different waitress that did a amazing job with a great attitude!
