Food was AMAZING!!! Nice and seasoned could taste the flavor. Service was outstanding our waitress was very attentive to us making sure we were ok and if we needed anything. Drinks are Strong, i didn’t feel cheated on the alcohol in them. Atmosphere was lively people were really enjoying themselves in here! Would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!!

I visited this place for the first time to celebrate my cousin’s birthday, and the service was really good. I wasn’t sure what to get, but I finally chose the steak, chicken, and shrimp fajitas. They were surprisingly tasty, but there was a flavor I wasn’t a fan of. It wasn’t terrible, but it also wasn’t the best I’ve had. Given the atmosphere, I would definitely give it another shot, just with a different order.

Greeted and seated immediately. Food came out in a timely manner and was visibly steaming hot and fresh off the grill. Everything was delicious! The cheese dip was thick and creamy not watery like everywhere else. The rice was flavorful and fresh. They have a small salsa bar you help yourself too which was a nice bonus. The portion sizes are huge. The waitress was nice and attentive.will definitely go back and recommend!

My first impressiom on El Mezcal II, We were seated right away, which I appreciated, but the experience felt rushed from the moment we sat down. I was still putting my daughter into a high chair when the waitress came over asking for drink orders. Since I hadn’t had a chance to get settled, I just asked for water instead of the drinks I normally would’ve ordered. That felt like a missed opportunity for them and a little overwhelming for us as first-time customers.
Menus were placed on the table, and before we even opened them, we were immediately asked about appetizers. I explained that this was our first visit, and the waitress backed off, but the whole interaction gave the impression that speed mattered more than hospitality. Our waters eventually came, but without straws—not a big deal, but another small miss.
The chips were good but served cold, and while the salsa had nice flavor, the bowl was tiny. For my entrée, I ordered the Chimichanga El Mezcal, which I would rate about a 7 out of 10. The food itself was solid, but not memorable enough to make up for the service.
Overall, it wasn’t a bad visit, but it didn’t leave us excited to return. If friends wanted to eat here, I’d give it another chance, but only in hopes that the service is a bit more attentive and welcoming the next time around. With a little more focus on the customer experience, this place could easily stand out in Hinesville.

My husband and I have gone here a handful of times since they have opened. Definitely our new go to spot. We have gotten quite a few different things when we’ve gone the chicken wings are great and really saucy, the birria tacos are packed full of meat and the consommé is delicious. The complimentary salsa bar is a nice touch, the only thing that would make it better is cilantro and onion! The complimentary salsa they bring to the table with the chips is always so fresh and flavorful! If you are looking for an authentic taste and great prices then I would definitely recommend el mezcal.

This was our first time, and it was very good and clean. The waiter was so nice. We ordered birria tacos and Mojarra frita. I usually don’t eat fish, but this was so good and crispy. The birtia tacos came with rice and beans bilut just with the tacos was so full.

My friend hyped it up so I gave it a try. I ended up really liked the food as well plus I got a lot of food for the price that I paid. I ordered takeout and I ate it so quickly I didn’t snap a photo until after I started eating. So the picture doesn’t make my food look appetizing. I will definitely be returning.

This place is awesome! My wife and I haven’t even finished a third of our meal and we are already making plans to go back. Our first experience was a takeout order And we are 1000% satisfied. The flavor is unmatched in the zip code (sorry Rodeo…). There is a salsa bar with all the hits Including house made pickled red onions with habanero. The tortilla chips were clearly fried in clean, fresh oil. It wasn’t very busy, but my to go order was ready in less than 10 minutes.
Overall, it was a rock solid experience which I am planning on repeating.
