My favorite wine bar!!! The atmosphere feels cozy and personal, the food is creative and beautifully executed, great wine selection. You can tell everything is made with passion, from the food to the service. The place is intimate, and full of heart; a true gem in the city.

Hi. I love this place. The ambiance, the service is incredible. The food —a surprising combination of flavors that work so well. My favorite part are the hosts are so kind and the chef is the most talented and they take care of me every time I come and make me feel truly special. As a person that grew up in the restaurant industry with my dad owning one, that’s what the true meaning of hospitality is. I grew up in New York City and this place makes me love the city even more.

Cozy wine bar, so glad we stepped by before the rush. The service is attentive and the ambiance was warming. Felt like having dinner with friends at home. Wine pours are generous. Only had the snacks, def come back to try more options. Very clean establishment. Ask for Luca, very informative on wine selection, so very friendly.

pretty decent atmosphere (a taaaad loud but not to the point we had to yell, but we went on a sat night) & broad selection! i believe everything was between $13-18 a glass which is reasonable. i know very little about wine and they were decently helpful in helping find things i liked. decent balance of bar seating and tables

Was excited to try this place out. It’s a good option for a glass of wine with friends or a date. They do a good job of creating a relaxed atmosphere.
The sweet potato gnocchi recommended by the server was a standout along with the oyster mushroom dish, and bread with herbed butter and jam.
The orange wines were the best that we tasted on the list and the recommended Chianti (not full bodied and weighty)
The bathroom water situation needs to be addressed – one bathroom faucet barely worked and the other had scalding hot water.

We weren’t blown away by Nine Cases and were a little surprised by the average review being so high compared to most good NYC restaurants. They were out of stock of the red wine we wanted, and didn’t have anything similar, which isn’t really what you expect when going to a wine bar, and only offer a handful of options. The food was decent – yummy options but some of it felt not super fresh, like it was made a few hours before serving. Nice vibe but we weren’t overwhelmed.

The food was awesome, my fav was the risotto it was so tasty and delicious, but all the food is amazing.
The wine it’s incredible! Different and unique.
And the atmosphere it’s epic, it’s cozy and cute, ideal for a date or going out with friends

I booked a private event for a birthday party at Nine Cases and the staff were super accommodating to us! We had a lovely night celebrating and they have this amazinggg bathroom that you enter through a wardrobe. It’s so cool.

I did my 25th birthday celebration here and it was perfect! The staff was extremely attentive and made sure my guest and I were well taken care of the entire evening. The food and wine was delicious. If you are thinking about having an intimate event here, do it!!
