I lived in Hawaii for 35 years and now traveling the good old USA. We found this place by chance and was happy we did. The food was great for a Hawaiian local plate. We got the plate lunch with one scoop of rice and two scoops of Mac Salad . We call this in hawaii as ONO (Oh so GOOD) We go to Tallahassee about every two weeks to shop and now to have lunch too.

My family came to have a meal here and was kind of skeptical at 1st. Once we walked in that all changed. Very well designed and super clean. The young lady who took our order was kind and explained the menu to us. Everything was delicious.

Loved the food! Between growing up eating at kings Hawaiian and eating local food in Hawaii. Other than wishing for more rice, I really enjoyed the Hawaiian BBQ Mix. Everything was marinated really well. They provide extra sauce, but it is not needed. Please do not mess up this new gem Tallahassee.

3.8.25 – From what I ordered last night I’m not wowwed enough to return right away. The ladies at the counter were nice and patient as this was our first visit. The interior was clean. Fortunately, I didn’t order anything for myself. The Mac salad, katsu, shrimp, are all not seasoned well (as reported by my teens); the sauces helped though. Took my brother out to a casual dinner while visiting him this week and after seeing this on TikTok we decided to give it a try. Huge portions of delicious bbq, so much food that me nor my brother (a hungry collegiate athlete) could finish our plates and had leftovers. Definitely get one of the combo platters! We also tried the spam musubi – so good! What an awesome experience to bring to Tallahassee. Great service, delicious, super clean.

So good, FYI the macaroni salad they make it bland but if you mix it with the meat it is really good. That’s just how they make it and I know this because my bf mom is Hawaiian and her macaroni salad taste the same , mixing it with the meat may sound bad but TRUST ME it goes so good together. !! The beef is so flavorful and tender, I’ve been back here twice in one week. Loco moco ( White rice topped with beef patty, fried egg and gravy ) & the Hawaiian BBQ beef is what we ordered .

Would definitely come again, BUT.. My husband got the half pound crawfish and half pound shrimp, on the menu it says “half pound of each” for $19.99. We got charged 31.99 for half a pound of shrimp and half a pound of crawfish. We talked to the staff and somehow we were still in the wrong I wish I had taken a pic of the menu. So many just read the menu carefully. Also that was overcooked so wouldn’t recommend the seafood. Anyways. The teriyaki chicken was absolutely delicious! Also you definitely should try one of the Hawaiian juice/sodas.

I saw this place on tic tok and me and my boyfriend decided to try it out. Hands down was the best food I’ve had in a minute. Everything was cooked to order and piping hot. The staff was incredibly nice and was so helpful with helping us choose what we wanted to try and explaining the different items they sell. The place was very clean and hygienic. Overall a 10/10 experience will be returning and bringing more customers.
