Update: this is my go-to restaurant in the area. Good people and quality ingredients. If you are looking for a fresh bite of sushi or some warm comfort food, they have something for everyone and will serve you with care. Thanks Hokkaido!
Solid new spot that knows what it’s doing. The area has had a sad void in the market and this place is on track to finally filling that. Clean atmosphere, friendly and attentive service (thank you, Eunice!), and food came out without a hiccup. Tantan ramen had deep, flavorful broth, with plenty of meat and fresh toppings. Spicy yellowtail roll was excellent, tuna nigiri was fresh and spot-on. All of the sushi has been great so far! Also appreciate the hot tea options and nice teaware. If Hokkaido keeps it up they will be an area favorite in no time. Will return!

Fantastic ramen and sushi! The Tantan bowl is the best I have ever had. And the sushi chef is incredible. We told him what we love and he made a special roll. Staff is friendly and service is fast. Surprising the top notch quality place located surprisingly between a Waffle House and subway.

I had a great experience at Hokkaido Ramen. Everything was excellent, the service, the atmosphere, and especially the food. The ramen was full of flavor, and the sushi was fresh and well prepared. You can really tell they care about quality. On top of that, the prices are very reasonable for the portion sizes and quality. I definitely recommend this place and would happily come back again!

Nice little quaint ramen shop that opened. Very convenient for where we live. The food was decent but our server Terry was amazing. Friendly, upbeat, and allowed us time to hang out after our meal. We got the Hokkaido Spicy ramen and a Tan Tan Ramen along with a sushi roll. We will back to try some more and hopefully by then, they will have the ability to sell some sake/beer for our next meal.

Lots of chicken, tasty noodles and I love the side of spicy paste just in case you wanted even more flavor. The eggs were so good, as good as it gets! The staff were on their A+ game, very friendly and ready to help. This is going to be a very popular place, I’m calling it now.

We got the spicy beef ramen, garlic tonkotsu, and tonkotsu shoyu. The charsiu and beef bone were our favorite parts of the meal. The noodles and broth have a nice consistency and are well balanced. I highly recommend getting the sides as they are all delicious.

The Tonkotsu Shoyu ramen here is outstanding the broth is packed with umami and the chashu pork is melt in your mouth amazing. Having traveled to Japan, I can say this is the real deal. Easily my new favorite spot in town!
