We were in Falls Church VA on a Saturday morning and searched online for a breakfast cafe’. It is very cozy, clean, and family-friendly. The cashier and the servers are all polite and very friendly. The food looks beautiful and is very, very, delicious and surprisingly fast served. The prices are reasonable. The bathrooms were super clean and differently well-decorated. Since you pay at the cashier when you order your food, no one will come to your table later to ask if you need anything! And the only not positive part of our experience, our latte’s were ready when we had more than half of our breakfasts even though we reminded a couple of times! Overall, a good and delicious experience, Thanks Cafe’ Kindred. We’ll be back!

You should definitely stop in, the vibe is upbeat casual English/American pub and the food is delicious.

My wife had the biscuits and gravy, which is fantastic and has a creamy, tomato based gravy (not American Southern gravy) that’s a perfect compliment to everything on the plate.

I had the English Breakfast and loved the smooth combination of flavors and textures. Their potatoes were cut in coins and had some subtle seasoning added to them, cooked to be firm on the outside but delightfully soft on the inside.
Both dishes are worth coming back for.

One note on parking:
There’s free parking in the parking garage of the building. You’ll go down one level and then I recommend parking in the second row near the stairwell that takes you to the retail spaces. The elevators near the second row/middle of the parking area say they’re not for retail use, but there ARE retail elevators right next to the first ramp where you came down into the parking garage from street level.

Oh! And the coffee, we got lattes a they came out on a tray with a sweet biscuit cookie and a metal cup with a carbonated liquid in it. We’d never seen this before, so we asked and the metal cup had a flavorless seltzer water in it as a palette cleanser between your food and the coffee. It was a fun experience!

Please patron this business and make sure they’re serving great food and coffee to years to come!

I’ve only been here for a quick breakfast because I read good things. The atmosphere was typical for brunch time with a good crowd and high ceilings. I had an omelet which seemed a bit on the oily side, but I was admittedly being a little critical because it was my first meal out after having surgery. It was very delicious, and I was glad I stopped in to try them out. I definitely recommend this place.

Local, crowded, communal cafe/bar/diner vibe meeting place. I got their original pancakes which are tasty and fluffy enough. The food comes out quickly. Good place to catch up with friends, family but it is a little noisy.

Was in from out of town looking for a spot to get some good coffee and breakfast and this place was absolutely phenomenal. All of their coffees are handcrafted to order and were so high quality and the coffee art was so cool!! The food was delicious and fresh and even the breakfast potatoes were hand cut and so good. And everything came out fast!! Definitely my new go to brunch spot whenever i’m in dc.

We were at the auto services shop nearby so we were able to eat both breakfast and lunch at this location on a weekday. It was a quiet, peaceful environment with a variety of seating. Laptops are discouraged on weekends. My husband and I enjoyed the ham and egg croissants along with a latte for breakfast. Affordable for breakfast. They serve the latte with sparking water to cleanse the palette (never seen that before!) and the cookie that came with it was a nice touch (but honestly stale and didn’t eat it all). For lunch, we had the bacon cheeseburgers with fries. I was able to add raw onions. Good portion for both. I’d recommend both meals! The staff were friendly. Wait time wasn’t long (not a lot of people there though). Restrooms in the back are clean. My husband particularly liked the music playing. The only reason why I wouldn’t give this location five star is because it had pretty terrible service and WiFi (despite connecting with the WiFi password). I had a hard time while searching things on my
Phone or when I had to join a work video conference call the service was not good.

Walking into this cozy cafe for the first time felt like finding a new home. Friendly staff took our order at the counter and brought everything to our table. We ordered a couple lattes, a blueberry parfait and French toast. Our lattes were perfect, and the blueberry parfait was delicious. A place as exceptional as this should use real maple syrup, which is my only critique. The slices of French toast were light and fluffy and the bacon was nice and crispy. I can’t wait to return and try more of the menu!

Cool quaint vibe, delicious meals. Lattes are nice.
But the potatoes still have too much oil. Table is very sticky.

Cafe Kindred in Falls Church is an absolute gem! This small, cozy spot offers fantastic customer service, with fast, friendly staff who make you feel right at home. It’s a perfect spot for families, but also great for solo diners with a bar area.

Although it has a bakery vibe, the breakfast options are abundant and delicious. I ordered the American breakfast with potatoes, croissant, eggs, and sausage, and it was incredibly fulfilling—such a satisfying meal for a very reasonable price. My boyfriend had the pancakes, bacon, and eggs, and he couldn’t stop raving about it. The pancakes were perfectly fluffy and sweet, the bacon crispy, and the eggs cooked just right. Even the cappuccino was a treat—cute presentation, and we added simple syrup to sweeten it to our liking.

We spent a total of $44, and every dollar was well worth it. The quality, flavor, and portion sizes left us more than satisfied. Being just around the corner from our gym, we’ll definitely be returning and recommending this spot to everyone we know!
