This is a cute bar. Very clean, capacity to seat many customers. Bathroom is older but SO CLEAN and everyone was so friendly! So much to look at and they have a pool table. I don’t know what I was expecting but what I got was so much better! Owner was so nice and the stories he had were fantastic.
It is really a big secret in town. We did not eat there however other customers raved about the pizza so we will be back to give it a try. Go, go, go if you get a chance.

Great bar and location. Bar is completely dead with most of the lights almost always off. A ton of potential. Some lights on with some music in the background would go a long way.

The pizza is not the best at all. The sauce they use is awful and tinny and taste as if they tried adding sugar to help but it did not. The size and price just doesn’t add up. The breadsticks need flavor besides just cheese. I won’t be back, very dissapointed.

They claim to have the best pizza in town, but ours was terrible. They messed up the toppings on a three item pizza. They barely had any topping and I have had better frozen pizzas. I definitely won’t be coming back.

Was late at night looking for a place to eat, was told this old gem is back in bussiness so went and checked it out. Was told we had three choices, pizza, fish basket, and chicken strips. So had the fish it was very yummy. Glad to see an old Houghton Lake gem back up amd running, hope to see bands and good food back here soon!! Fingers crossed, used to have a blast here!!!

Pizza and cheese bread were awesome. Never had there pizza before but we got a large shananagins special large pepperoni and cheese bread best I have had in a long time. I am not from the area here on vacation from southern Mi. Came early and had a couple BudLights Waiting on the pizza we felt like we where at home. Thanks again.

Pitcher of beer was reasonably priced, but flat so not worth the price. Took quite awhile to get food with place nearly empty on Friday afternoon. Nachos were different but good, size was ridiculously overpriced for size of plate, was 25% the size I would expect to get for $9.00. Bartender was pleasant.
