I’ve worked around the block for YEARS and never knew they made this type of sandwich – The Californian is AMAZING. Those that are complaining they seem to always be sold out of what you want, how about showing up early or calling ahead? OR, here’s one: being happy for a local business that seems to be thriving! Seems like a place out of the 1960s. Probably when most of the customers were born too based on who I saw on a Thursday morning. Placed my order at the cash register ($5 card minimum), and it went into the kitchen on a paper ticket.
The cinnamon raisin bagel itself was small, hard, and a bit bland, and the cream cheese was sliced off a loaf.
The atmosphere wasn’t exactly inviting. A large TV blares the latest spin on 24/7 cable news (I think it was fox), and food came out on a cafeteria tray.

Courtney’s is the best kept secret in Owings Mills. Their breakfast sandwiches are AMAZING!! And the man behind the magic, Sal, makes the best turkey bacon on the planet. The turkey bacon BLT is my weekly staple, but the shrimp salad looks outstanding and I’d venture to guess that just about anything Sal conjures up will be a slice of heaven on your plate. Courtney and the staff are always friendly, personable and a breath of positive fresh air each and every time I visit. I cannot speak their praises highly enough, and emphatically recommend Courtney’s for breakfast, lunch or dinner!

I’m so frustrated with Courtney’s. No matter what time of day I show up, they are sold out of what I want. This morning I arrived 45 minutes after they opened, and they were sold out of Everything Bagels, Whole Wheat Everything Bagels, and Whole Wheat Bagels. When I mentioned that whenever I come in it seems they are sold out of all the things I like, they suggested that I call my order in the day before. REALLY? I’m supposed to know I want a bagel sandwich 24 hours in advance?! What NEEDS to happen is that Courtney’s needs to do a MUCH better job at anticipating what their customers want.
The lady in line after me ordered an Everything Bagel with Egg Salad. Of course she was also informed they were out of Everything Bagels for the day … as well as out of Egg Salad.
Looks like I’ll be looking for another bagel joint.

The best food and coffee ive ever had! I always get a sausage egg & cheese bagel or BLT, along with a caramel macchiato. The portion size is bigger then anywhere else i have been and all cooked fresh to order. The coffee is made with an actual espresso machine so the flavor is unbeatable!
All the staff is warm welcoming and amazing! I feel like family when I walk in, and they greet most of their regulars by name as they come in.
The price is more then reasonable for the quality of their food and service. Highly recommend for breakfast or lunch!

Have visited Courtney’s twice and I’m looking forward to going back!! Had a Ruben my first visit that was amazing. And went for breakfast on my second visit. Ordered a ham and cheese omlet. Super good!!! All the folks behind the counter were really nice and friendly. I would highly recommend this location, great food and very comfortable, clean seating area.

Good, clean and friendly place to enjoy. I only wish they had Asiago bagels. I was craving them but I settled for the onion bagel instead. Very delicious. If they ever get a cheese bagel I’ll probably give them a full 5 stars
