Went there for a birthday dinner with a friend. What a super warm and inviting atmosphere. On a Friday night in Wayne, expect to park and walk to the restaurant. But the owner and head chef were there, as well as Frank, the owner’s dad. The crab appetizer had the most delicious dip. And my crab cake was phenomenal!!!!!! What a great dining experience! And they even surprised me with an adorable candle in a complimentary dessert, that was super fun and tasty! Outstanding service!

The “steak for 2” does not disappoint and we used it to feed four of us, with a sampling of other great menu items. We sat at the chef’s counter so we got to witness the work up close and our server did a great job of recommending dishes that complemented each other well. And don’t shy away from the burger, we actually had it for dessert. Excellent experience and would definitely recommend.

Had an amazing holiday dinner here with the team. Service was incredibly attentive although they were so busy! Food was fresh and BEYOND expectations. Creative, beautiful, delicious, perfect.

I hope to make a holiday tradition here for our employees out of tonight’s experience.
Thank you cornerstone for being a highlighting part of it! ❤️

The best food on the mainline. The atmosphere is incredible. Nick and Christine (and all the staff) are amazing and go above and beyond to make your experience fantastic. The food is unbelievable!! The portion sizes are super filling and it taste better than it looks. The pork chop is the best thing ever. I will never order a pork chop anywhere else. It really is the best restaurant on the mainline. The specials are always fantastic and the wine menu changes frequently which is always a fun treat! Bring your family and friends it won’t disappoint. You won’t be disappointed!!!

Not first time there. Date night with my wife last night was amazing. We ordered oysters, crab claw fingers, steak tartar as starters. They were great, I wish I had some salt for the steak tartar but I still devoured it. Drinks were also great, I had 2 spicy margaritas. Then the main, I ordered the steak fries (medium) and the bone marrow butter with the steak juices soaking the fries was amazing. My wife ordered the pork chop, and God that thing was Phenomenal. The juiciest most tender pork chop I have ever tasted. Definitely Will order again. Then came dessert, the Nutella no bake cheesecake was out of this universe. The best cheesecake I have ever tasted. I want more of that!

My overall experience was mixed. The experience at the Chef’s Counter was great as you get to enjoy watching the chefs cook and prep the food ( I would ONLY recommend sitting here based on the rest of the review). For service, the server was friendly but not very attentive and hard to find at times. Despite the entertainment of sitting at the chef’s counter, what will keep me from recommending it is that the portions are absolutely TINY for the prices charged. I paid $42 for a single, VERY small, short rib set upon a half scoop of grits… and yes, all the other menu items appeared small as well (the benefit of sitting at the chef’s counter is that you get to see almost the entire menu being made). While the food was delicious, it’s hard for me to get over paying all that $$ and going home hungry. Really, it was Tapas sized.(at entree prices) No salad or bread… if you go, either plan on spending more $$ as you will need to also order starters or don’t go hungry. At least sitting at the chef’s counter I can justify the prices a little bit by considering it dinner and a show. That being said, the food was delicious and the atmosphere wonderful.

Phenomenal meal, cocktails and wine list. The food exceeded expectations. Get the chefs seating if you can for a really unique dining experience. Anything off the wood grill is amazing! I got the wagyu steak and it was mind blowing!

We dined at Cornerstone Bistro on New Year’s Eve, and despite the holiday rush, we had a fantastic experience. We had 9:15 reservations and arrived early, so we decided to sit at the bar while we waited. Since it was such a busy night, our table wasn’t ready right at our reservation time, but the hostess was absolutely wonderful—she sincerely apologized for the delay and made us feel welcomed and valued.

Ultimately, we chose to stay at the bar for dinner, and it turned out to be the best decision we could have made. Our bartender was accommodating, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable, making the evening even more enjoyable.

We ordered the steak for two, and it was cooked to perfection—absolutely spectacular. The warm, inviting atmosphere made us feel right at home, and we could have easily stayed for hours.

Thank you so much to the owners for creating such a special spot on Wayne Ave. Cornerstone Bistro is truly a gem, and we can’t wait to come back!

We visited Cornerstone on 11/12 as the restaurant was opening. The bartender had propped the door open with a log. Aftet a luke warm greeting, we were informed only the bar area was open. The door opens into the bar area. As it was a 55 degree day, my wife asked if it wasn’t a little cold inside. The bartender replied that he needed the fresh air. We told him we would be leaving due to the chill. His reply? OK, goodbye. His apathy and poor customer service skills ruined a birthday celebration. First impressions matter. We will not be back.

Found the Cornerstone after finishing up dinner down the street and happened to wander in. We asked the hostesses for dessert ideas and they told us the bartenders would have an amazing option called the “EMMA.” This was handsdown the best dessert martini I’ve ever had – plus we had a just as amazing dessert bourbon-ball dish on top of it. Great service, charming atmosphere, we will be back for dinner! Thank you!
