I was excited to order the Jaindl Grand Champion® Turkey, mash potatoes, stuffing, turkey gravy and cranberry. My family had enjoyed Jaindl turkeys for years at Thanksgiving, and this is the same Turkey served at the Whitehouse. Reminding me of a happy memory of past Family Holidays.
I’m sad to say what a disappointment, the Turkey meat is sliced on a meat slicer to give it a mass-produced Turkey Roll or Loaf consistency instead of carved Turkey and was way over cooked and dry. Mashed potatoes are fresh, not powered but only average. The stuffing is also just odd with corn in it, I’m not saying it was bad but odd in an area where most people expect filling. The gravy is just sad; the color is flower white with a bland minimal taste that gravy master would help a lot. Even the cranberry sauce seems canned without a berry in it. I expected so much more from a Jaindl restaurant offering a Jaindl Grand Champion Turkey dinner, this is an embarrassment to the Jaindl Brand.
My wife ordered the Grilled Cheese Brisket Sandwich which was fantastic, and I would recommend it. Our service was outstanding; my Buffalo Trace Manhattan and my wife’s Cosmo were both great and we would order again. Our waitress Arleana was attentive and did an outstanding job and warned me about the Turkey dinner stating most people don’t care for it. Sadly, I said I really like Janidl Turkey and if it wasn’t great I would write a review so here we are.
Of course, my wife said, “the waitress and I told you so.” I hope someone from the Jaindl family will read this because I know they can do better, or at least remove this family embarrassment from your menu and stay with Burgers and sandwiches.

Came to the Wild Turkey for dinner with friends not knowing what to expect. The server was ok, drinks need work but the food was delectable. We had cheese steak spring rolls, the steak filet, risotto, and Arancini amoung other things. I must say when we ordered the risotto and filet they were brought out by the chef named Zack which was a pleasant surprise, they were beautifully plated. The risotto was my favorite and I would totally recommend it to anyone coming to the Wild Turkey. Well done!

This is our second and last visit to this restaurant. We are not usually picky people. The calamari was over cooked and not really edible. I had chicken and biscuits. Kind of salty but edible. My husband had the turkey meal. It was too salty to eat. I’m a salt lover but I couldn’t even tolerate the salt. Very disappointed. Meal also was just warm. Calamari was credited to our bill. We paid for the turkey even though the plate was returned almost full. Will not recommend to others.

Amazing find a short drive from our stay. It was a yucky day and we had the entire place to ourselves. The pretzel was HUGE and setting was beautiful.

My friend and I stopped in for lunch and were very impressed with the food. We each had the soup of the day, which was cream of sweet potato and it was hands down one of the best soups I have ever had! We also had the buratta flatbread and the steak flatbread, both were delicious. Generous portions on both the soups and flatbreads, we both have leftovers. Beautiful atmosphere and good service! We can’t wait to go back when the weather is warmer to sit outside!

I arrived and went to the outside patio where they were seated and held the door for the server who was coming back inside. My friends had just gotten their food and started eating when I arrived.
The server didn’t return to ask if I wanted a drink or to order some food. She finally returned after approximately 20 minutes. I declined food or drink at that time as my friends were just about through with their meal. My friends had a turkey club and drinks and did say they liked both, so there’s that….

Food was great ! Fish and Chips entree was so big it was hanging off the plate ! Drinks were spot on and our server Jordan was a pleasant you man !
