Today was my fourth time coming here and I have not yet been disappointed. Every time we come we try to get something different but today we got Cream Cheese Roll, Crunchy Roll, Star Crispy Roll with spicy tuna, Mango Tango Roll, Jumbo Dynamite Roll, Orange Chicken Bowl, and Salmon Nigiri. Everything we had was soo flavorful and soo fresh. We don’t have a lot of sushi places near where I live anymore so I’m happy I found this place. Staff is super friendly and I look forward to sitting and eating there. Thank you, don’t ever change!!

When I first ordered from here, the food was amazing for the price, and they didn’t skimp on ingredients, so I became a regular and ordered multiple times. However, the last time I ordered, they sent the wrong roll. I was annoyed, but since I was starving, I didn’t bother to complain. The taste also seemed a bit different from the first time I tried it. Still, the portions are decent, and the prices are reasonable, so it was okay overall.

I’ve been to Star Sushi several times now, and every single visit has been great. The owner, Anthony, and his staff are always super friendly and welcoming. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers — it’s the kind of place where they remember you and your favorites.
The fish is always fresh and the rolls are consistently delicious! My go to is the Star Tower. The amount of fish is very generous and it blends perfectly well with the rice, avocados, roe and sauces. It’s honestly one of the best sushi spots around, both for the food and the people!

Nice staff and quick service. I got the nigiri — the salmon was excellent, and the tuna wasn’t so good. Portion sizes were great, and I really enjoyed my experience. I’d prefer if the soy sauce didn’t come in ketchup-style packets, but life will go on. Not the best sushi spot but if its nearby its solid it has some tough competition next door so its not as popular but I cant say it was bad. Rice was alittle hard.

I ordered a couple of their party platters for an event I was hosting and they exceeded my expectations! Every platter was done beautifully not to mention how delicious their food was. My guests couldn’t stop raving about the food. I will definitely and happily order from them in the future.

I didnt even finish the rice inside the bowl, but I am so full from eating salmon and tuna pieces.

I have tried A LOT of sushi from different places throughout NJ and this is probably the best sushi I have had so far! All of the fish tastes very fresh and the flavors are amazing. The presentation is also beautiful for every dish and the price is great! I highly recommend! (Note: it’s not a dine-in place, it’s only for take out)
