We were not impressed. My partner had a steak which he liked. It was good, not great. I had the seabass… it was just ok. I loved the decor and atmosphere which is why I’m giving this a 4 stars instead of 3 stars. We also enjoyed the bread and crackers… quite tasty.
We tried it …. There are better places to go for the price point. If I’m spending over $100 pp I want to be WOW’d

OH.MY.GOODNESS!!! This was an amazing dinner!! We ordered the Tomahawk and lobster tails plate. I have never had a Tomahawk that was tender and cooked to perfection like this was! The chef did a fantastic job I would also highly recommend the lobster mashed potatoes, the bourbon mushrooms, and the Creme Brulee!! Our server, Chelsea, was very helpful and just very delightful All around perfect evening!

For the price you’re paying for streak, they should be cooked how you like them. I ordered a medium and it was borderline medium well/well done. My guest ordered a Medium well and it came out Well done. The server asked us to cut in and see if they were ok. I let her know it was over cooked as well as my guest, she was apologetic and grabbed the manager. Manager said he heard there was a problem with the food, told him the issue and he was apologetic but neither offered to remake them or any compensation on the bill. I’ve been to well over several steak houses, some pricier and some not and all have resolved issues if there was one. I don’t recommend this over price under delivered establishment.

Had date night at Final Cut and I must say it was wonderful. From our amazing server to the best prime rib I can remember having everything was just right. My husband had the crab cakes appetizer, with the salmon Oscar and lobster mashed potatoes on the side. I did the prime rib and loaded baked potato. Ended our meal with the lemon meringue dessert and it was tangy and delightful. Will definitely be back.

Had dinner in the bar section of the restaurant. Smaller area but good if you are alone or just with 1 other and don’t want to sit in the dining room. The bar itself was stocked nicely with several liquers and high end spirits. Our server/bartender was Gus. He was extremely nice and knowledgeable about the items available at the bar as well as the entire food menu. Started with the seasonal oysters. A little on the smaller side, but very tasty. Came with 3 separate sauce options which was nice. For the main we shared a 7oz filet and the Chilean Sea Bass. The filet was definitely a nice cut that was cooked perfectly to order. The sea bass was a little bland. Not sure if it was the fish itself or that it just needed better accompaniment. Also had the lobster mac n cheese as a side. Very tasty with good size pieces of lobster. Overall a good experience. I would try again for sure and give other items on the menu a taste. The service Gus provided was a definite plus. Thanks Gus!

Can’t rave enough about the Final Cut. Juan, or server was perfect. The bread was delicious and the butter was just a bit sweet and a perfect match. I had the shrimp and scallop linguine with a savory french onion soup, and my wife had the 10 oz filet with lobster mashed potatoes. We shared little bites together as we enjoyed our view of the speedway. Perfect date night.

The atmosphere is okay. The best thing about the place was the host and our waiter Juan. The best waiter there. The food unfortunately is not worth the price. Steak was overcooked, mac and cheese both with and without lobster was unseasonably and tasted burnt. Shrimp was overcooked. The mashed potatoes was very salty. It’s not worth the price. My husband and I had the steak special plus some add on sides which came up to around $167. It’s very understandable why its not packed. Paying that much you want flavored food and there was no flavor at all. No wonder they are giving away free food comps to eat there. It’s the only time I would.

Had an amazing time celebrating our engagement here at Final Cut Steakhouse inside Hollywood Casino in Kansas City, Kansas. Highly recommend! The food is phenomenal the service is impressive and friendly and knowledgeable there is a reason this place is world renowned. Juan is the best dinner companion a guest could ask for tell him Zach and Mellissa sent you and you’re in for a treat. He makes you feel like family and the food and service makes you feel like royalty. Will be back and have been back.

Food was very good, not great, but well worth the money. Atmosphere was kind of dull, but it was okay. Service was pretty slow considering we were 2 or only 12 people in the whole restaurant. Overall, its a solid 4 star place.
