There are much better spots around. This place has become very expensive for food that tastes just okay. I’ve been here many times, and nothing has really impressed me enough to want to come back. Their al pastor is very good, but a smallish basic burrito that is mostly beans and rice has gone up in the last 4 years from 7.50 to 11.50. Inflation is not that high – I get groceries from the mercado next-door and prices haven’t changed that much. The rent didn’t go up, this is a taco truck. Price gouging is way too common in El Sob right now and it should really stop.

I come here because it’s one of the only places close to my job where I can get something to eat for lunch other than burgers . Unfortunately, the food is not that great , and on top of that every person I’ve interacted with that works here is super rude and confrontational . Don’t recommend, I’ll be taking my business to El Trompudo on San Pablo from now on, even though it further away, at least they have good food and good customer service , hope you do the same

Atmosphere…It’s a truck. Food, almost always exceptional. Today, service really wasn’t on it. I ordered Asado Torta…with the works…THREE TIMES I STATED with the works. Had to back for carrot condiment and, upon arriving home, NO CHIPS!!? Seriously, no chips? Ugh.
Update: Last to order durimg the El Sobrante Stroll, got cold food. Not even warmed. No carrot bag. The WORST service/food EVER. And I tipped $5 beforehand because I thought I knew them. NEVER AGAIN!!!!

I will say the meat isn’t the worst, but the portion is small. Def not worth my money. I wouldn’t suggest it and will not be back. The cook put hardly any meat in my tacos and hardly any of the veggies or extras that go in the tacos. Honestly I was still hungry after. I’d rather go to taco bell.

Place is going downhill. No Carrots, Radish, Jalapeno bag (to go with any order). No frills. No service. No thanks!

Good burritos and quezadillas. The meat is so flavorful and the burritos has everything mixed well. Other places the meat is only in the bottom or rice all on one side. You take a bite of their burritos and you get a bit of everything. Definitely recommend!
