A delicious pizza and a team that cares. It might be your takeout spot but you should try dining in the clean and inviting dining room. They serve beer and wine and the pizza is delicious. Served hot and fresh ingredients, they use cornmeal unde the crust so it has a great crisp crunch not soggy.
We had cheese NY style with mushrooms, olives and Basil. Easy and affordable.

Other positive reviews and pictures were consistent with our experience. Friendly staff, typical NY style pizza, inexpensive (18 inch pizza enough for 3-4).

I’m going 4.5 but rounding up.

The young lady who took care of us was very friendly; in fact, every staff member we spoke to was great and attentive. We were sat immediately and our food and drinks were brought out quickly.

A few of my fellow NY transplants on here have said that this isn’t NY pizza apart from the size of the slice, and they’re right to an extent. No, this is not the kind of pizza you’re going to get at an old family run Brooklyn pizzeria. I ordered the cheese pie and there seemed to be another type of cheese blended in with the mozzarella (perhaps for more flavor?), and the sauce tasted closer to a vodka style sauce than a rich tomato sauce. This is something you’d likely find in the now trendy Williamsburg or Dumbo area of Brooklyn. The kind of places that do a more gourmet style. Now, is that a bad thing? No, not really. I didn’t dislike it, but it didn’t really remind me of the slice I get back home, which was what I was expecting.

I’d come back here, but I’d likely try one of their other specialty pizzas rather than the cheese pie. Those seem to be their more strong points.

The NY style pizza was definitely NOT NY style pizza. The crust was all wrong. The sauce was fine, nothing great but not bad either. The wild mushroom topping was good. We also got a NY style margarita pizza, the crust was all wrong and barely any mozzarella. The $20 salad was expired, with moldy lettuce and obviously from a bag. Our check was $110 for salad and 2 pizzas, we tipped well because the server was good, she was also very kind and doing the bus boy’s job. Come on guys, do better.

My boyfriend and I had been craving some NY style pizza after a trip to the east coat a few months back and this place hit the spot. It was fast, delicious and a great price. Clean restaurant and we’re excited to go back!

You won’t get the super thin undercarriage NY slice here, but it’s still tasty and is a solid pizza.

I really want to support this local business 100% but can’t get myself to fully. They’ve gotten my order wrong the last two times (both phone orders for takeout) and this past time the order was taken by a very not-friendly lady.

The first time this happened, I notified them and they said they would refund me. Well, I never ended up getting the refund to my credit card. I let it slide because they are a small local business and I understand mistakes can be made. However, this past time it happened again but I didn’t even bother to let them know solely because the lady who took my order and who also was there when I picked up my order, was so curt and rude. I did not want to deal with her again.

Overall, I want this business to do well and I want to be a frequent customer. However when your order is wrong twice, and the first time the promised refund never gets followed through and the second time there’s an unfriendly employee, it isn’t a great feeling as a customer. Betty’s, please work on getting your orders processed and executed correctly. It would be nice too if your workers AT THE VERY LEAST have neutral attitudes.

Low rating for service as they weren’t taking pickup orders on a Friday night at 7pm. I get maybe not taking deliveries but come on! And the person on the phone was not kind, apologetic or making us feel like she cared in the least. Having worked in restaurants, I get that kitchens can be short staffed or things can happen but to not even apologize or give a reason ensures that we’ll look elsewhere for our pizza Fridays.

Normally an amazing place, but they accidentally took my card and charged someone else’s meal to it. Luckily, the money hit back right away, but they said it could’ve been up to three days and then they didn’t understand why I was angry at them. They could’ve at least refunded my meal for the mistake. Then I forgot our sodas, and when I went to go pay, they tried to serve me a soda instead of refunding me.

I tried to order online and their 3rd party system was not working. I then tried calling and was told by the employee on the phone that I have to use the online system. He seemed uninterested when I explained that the online system doesn’t work. Unfortunately, this is not the first time I have had difficulty ordering from Betty’s and I’m sick of it. I will be spending my money elsewhere.

The white pie and garlic knots were so greasy we couldn’t eat them.

The vodka pizza was rather tasty though!
