Havanero is hands down the best Cuban restaurant in Iowa! The food is simply exquisite, from the tender pork to the flavorful arroz congrí, tamales, and perfectly cooked yuca. The attention from the staff is super friendly, and the cleanliness and organization of the restaurant are impeccable. I 100% recommend this place. If you’re in the Storm Lake or Early area, do yourself a favor and visit Havanero. Let’s support our local Cuban community and enjoy some amazing food!

We camped in Eatly overnight. Found Habaneros to be A great experience! We were greeted by smiling faces. The food was excellent! Mild flavor and able to add a little heat if desired. We would stop again if in the area.

Don’t order pickup! We ordered online, the wait was 45 minutes, not terrible for a restaurant, but when I got there my food wasn’t ready, I had to wait another 30 minutes for them to retrieve 3/4ths of our meals from the buffet? If they were just going to use the random crap from the buffet then why an hour and 15 minute wait? And don’t eat the croquettes they taste like pre chewed baby food and they all taste alike. Very disappointed

Food was fantastic! Dinners were authentic Cuban, but definitely American-sized portions! Staff was friendly and helpful. Cuban sandwiches were delicious. We would definitely stop in Early again, even if there were a lot more options to choose from on Highway 20.

I love eating here! The staff is so friendly and the food is amazing! Authentic Cuban food! The portions are huge and the menu changes often so it’s never boring. Cuban food is NOT spicy, so it’s great for people who don’t want spicy food. It’s also fast, so it’s perfect for those evenings when you don’t want to cook but need to get something on the table quickly. Definitely recommend!!
