I love this restaurant. I visited today with 4 adults and 5 children (ages 9 and under). They sat us immediately and gave the kids menus with crayons. The restaurant and bathrooms were very clean. We sat outside on a beautiful summer evening during a street fair. Our server was so attentive (and patient) with our group. Can’t say enough positive things about her! The food was delicious. Everyone was so happy with their meals. I also love when a restaurant has more than chicken fingers on a kids’ menu! My oldest doesn’t usually order off a kids menu, but was happy to have a grilled chicken sandwich from it. The drinks are fantastic. The butterfly lemonade was delicious, and they poured it in front of you as it turned a beautiful shade of lavender! A must go if you love whiskey, since that is their specialty. Would definitely recommend!

Walking in there was a very lively atmosphere with live music. The person was quite talented singing. The drinks, especially the caramel banana old fashioned were delicious. I tried the chicken and waffle sandwich and it was very good and the fries and aioli were very tasty. I was very happy with everything about this place and will definitely go back to try other things on the menu , both food and drinks.

This “I’ll never leave NY” girl loves me some southern food and it’s finally right in my backyard. Food was good drinks even better. Nice big bar and dining room is casual. Service was great. Loved the NY Sour and Blackberry Whiskey Smash. Save room for Pecan pie. Will be back soon to try more!

Wonderful Wonderful Wonderful! The service was excellent , the atmosphere was full of life and the food was to die for. I had the pork chop which was cooked perfectly and delicious my friend loved her chicken and waffles. I had the Blueberry peach cobbler for dessert and my friend had pecan pie . We are definitely going to be back!

American standard will have you walking out 20lbs heavier & we love it !!! The food is great. We had their chicken tacos and 10/10. I could get the tacos for dinner and be good. We got it as a app. For dinner my husband got the chicken fried steak and it was delicious & delicate. We upgraded the corn to fries. Loved it ! I have the mac and cheese with brisket and it was 10/10. So much food you can eat it for another lunch and dinner!! To drink we had the beast of bourbon and I have to say I am not a whiskey/rye drinker normally but it was really good ! It is like a hard apple cider with cinnamon. I would recommend everything. The service was great. Super friendly. The have a lot of drinks you can get so I recommend going even if you don’t love whiskey or bourbon normally. The ambiance is a little loud if you’re trying to really catch up with someone but for a date night or maybe a casual night out it’s great I would say. Another great spot in bayshore.

Went here for Sunday brunch after another place was packed. The atmosphere is amazing low lighting and cool with speakeasy vibes. When we walked in there was a soft spoken girl singing and playing guitar. Food was great and service was good but when one person in our party got their food late, the manager gabby came over and gave them a gift card and took their meal off the bill. She found out it was my birthday and sent green tea shots over. What a great experience and we will be back!

Really cool spot in Bayshore. The food was fresh and delicious. Our waitress was super attentive, nice, and helpful. Beautiful bar with so many options. Very large and creative cocktail menu. I would definitely recommend American standard!!

I ordered the chicken fried steak through Uber Eats… the steak was tough and chewy. The grits were very salty. There was no creamed corn in my order, which was advertised as part of the meal. I also ordered the hush puppies with honey butter. The hush puppies should have been light, pillowy, sweet, and crispy, but they were dense, hard, bland, and dry. I paid almost $60 with the delivery fee and driver tip. I’m very, very disappointed.

A great new place in Bayshore. Be prepared, it’s loud! A country music blasting, scream across table loud. However, the food and drinks made it a pleasant experience. Chicken and waffles are top notch. The salmon was awesome with the smashed garlic potatoes. I had the NY Sour, a great whisky sour drink. The Smokey and the Bandit also rocked. It was packed and the doors were open so it was a bit warm inside. We had gotten our drinks late and they forgot the potatoes at first but they made up for it all with service. We will be back! Tell ’em Barsnobs sent ya!
