We stopped in for an early dinner before the football game and it was a little busy. We waited in line to order, we ordered two burgers with everything and chili cheese fries. We waited and waited for our food, all of the tables around us got their food (they ordered after us). They gal that brought our food said sorry and left. The actual hamburger patties were burnt and did not taste good. The chili cheese fries were good. We were disappointed, this place was really hipped to us by several people, they said it’s not much to look at but the food is excellent.

What a great local experience! Absolutely loved the burgers (fresh, never frozen beef), corn nuggets, chicken tenders, hot dog, and curly fries! DO NOT stop at McDonalds! Come get the real deal at Dari Delite! Including pictures of the menu so you know what to order!

I was extremely disappointed. In all the years I have eaten here, this is absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had. Curly fries were almost burned, mozzarella sticks were almost burned as well & less cheese, cost more, wraps looked really good, just a little sloppy. I also had a chocolate shake while I was waiting & it wasn’t as good as ones I’ve had prior to today.
UPDATE: In the second photo of curly fries, this was the amount I could not eat (I tried). The actual wrap was so wet it tasted like raw dough. Doubt I’ll go back there anytime soon & it was def not worth $30. Heartbreaking, I use to love this place

Stopped in for soft serve on a hot evening. The big cup is an x-large. I asked for the next size down and was surprised to see such a small cup comparably. Nonetheless it was still a lot but well worth the price. Next time we’ll get the x-large and just share it.

Dari Delite is located on Main Street in Big Stone Gap VA We had the Crispy Chicken Salad and the Crispy Chicken Wrap. There is a nice little patio to sit outside and the staff are friendly cans nice. We visit here occasionally for a treat and have never been disappointed.

It’s been years since I’ve been here. When we moved back, we wanted to take our kids. Today was the day and it did not disappoint! Great food, excellent service from the owners wife. She was so sweet, helpful, and patient! I would definitely recommend!

We absolutely love Dairy Delite. We live in a central location that gives us the option to either drive to Big Stone Gap or to drive to Pound and go to another similar place called Robos. Hands down we go Dairy Delite every time. The burgers and dogs are perfect every time we go, and ask for a small custard and they fix it to the ceiling! Great place and highly recommend for the food. Only reason I give 4 stars as a whole and 3 stars for atmosphere is because we love to sit out on the covered porch on nice days with the view of the mountain in the background. This is small town living at its best. What over shadows the experience they let their employees go outside around the corner and smoke which is carried onto the porch and makes it very unpleasant to be out there. Coming from a household of smokers, and not ever doing it myself the smell is very strong and poignant. I say to each his own and if you want to smoke give it the old college try but I shouldn’t have my senses assaulted trying to enjoy a meal and an experience. Go to your car or find somewhere else to do this that is not right around where people are trying to enjoy their food.

I recently went to this establishment and let me tell you it was the absolute worst experience. I ordered 2 sandwiches and 4 sides and it came out to $50! I dont mind to pay for good food but this was not it. The food was wrong, cold, and frankly a disappointment that took 40 mins to get and there were only 6 people in the entire restaurant. Then when I call to tell them this the woman on the phone(who i placed the order with face to face) tries to blame me that the food wasn’t correct even when I had asked detailed questions while placing the order. Ive worked in the service industry for years so definitely not a novice when it comes to translating an order. Then she says “Well what do you want me to do about it?” I’ll tell you, I want you to properly prepare your food, do so in a timely manner, and when mistakes are made how about at least an apology. I don’t know if she was the only adult working that day but I would recommend going elsewhere until the owners have a real step back and look at this business.

Can’t say enough when it comes to a small town atmosphere and great food.. Dari Delite is a big part of the towns atmosphere.. Excellent food always served with a friendly smile. With one of the best menus around and always serving up daily specials…Yum!! Dari Delite always goes above and beyond in the community, always helping others in so many ways.. from students in the community get the opportunity to work at Dari Delite during the summer break.. Its great seeing young students working beside one another. Wow and thank you Dari Delite for always stepping up helping our school programs and especially one of my favorite is the many Dari Delite Game Ball Sponsorships throughout the year. Excellent Food..Excellent Service..Excellent Atmosphere.. Keep doing what your doing Dari Delite.. Thank You Guys!
