Fabulous experience! We celebrated a birthday here and were VERY positively surprised! The service was outstanding!!! Branson, Emily & the whole team did amazing! The food was also fantastic! We are regulars at bourbon steak house but I have to say, prime & proper is the first real HUGE competitor in Nashville and might even win this game! We will definitely come back again!

An absolutely incredible dinner from start to finish. The atmosphere was beautiful, the service was attentive and welcoming, and the food was insanely delicious. The P+P Louise salad was fresh and perfectly balanced, the crab beignets are an absolute must, and the potato pavé is something you simply can’t miss. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor. It’s perfect for a special occasion or business dinner.

Prime + Proper at the Grand Hyatt Nashville absolutely exceeded every expectation. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance set the tone upscale, polished, and welcoming without feeling stiff.
The service was just as impressive. Bryan, originally from Detroit where Prime + Proper began, took great care of us. The team supporting him moved with precision you could tell there was pride behind every detail of the experience.
Now let’s talk about the food… top tier across the board. We started with the fried lobster and chicken appetizer — crispy, flavorful, and unforgettable. The tomahawk steak was cooked to perfection and seasoned just right. The sweet potato rolls are truly to die for — I even had to order some to go.
The Brussels sprouts were delicious and beautifully dressed, and every plate came out looking as good as it tasted. The cheesecake dessert was solid, and the drinks? Absolutely top tier — crafted perfectly and paired well with the meal.
This was our first visit and it turned into an exceptional experience from beginning to end. Prime + Proper Nashville has earned a 5+ star rating from me, and I will definitely be back.

They do not start seating until 4:30pm. Ambiance is dreamy. Service was immaculate from our server Bill & Savannah being overly tentative as well as knowledgeable about the menu. Max the manager was very personable ensuring we had a great first time experience. We ordered whiskey aged cowboy ribeye with Oscar style king crab toppings, chicken fried lobster, dozen oysters, crab beignet, cheese cake, Broadway smash, Manhattan that was paired with the ribeye along with Cadillac margarita. The drinks was absolutely amazing not watered down for sure. Food was Devine. Was not a fan of the bone marrow tasted like roast beef. Unfortunately we had to send it back. Brussel sprouts and potatoe pave was good not delicious. We absolutely enjoyed our dinning experience. Will be returning. Thank you to all staff for making this a memorable experience.

But the real highlight of the evening was meeting GM Alisa. She is truly one of the nicest, smartest, and most impressive hospitality professionals I’ve ever met. Her presence sets the tone for the entire restaurant — you can see how much she cares about both her guests and her team. It’s rare to experience leadership like that in a restaurant.
The entire staff was incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive, and they made my birthday celebration feel personal and memorable.

We had an amazing experience at Prime & Proper Nashville ~ twice in one week! We went on opening night and were immediately impressed by the beautiful atmosphere, vibrant energy, and top-notch service.
The steaks were perfectly cooked and full of flavor, the sides and cocktails were just as outstanding, and everything was presented beautifully. You can truly tell they pay attention to every detail.
