Placed an order over the phone because I like to keep things old school. Was greeted by a lovely man who I gave my order to. Told me it would be done in 15 minutes. I arrived promptly at the restaurant 16 minutes later. And of course, it was done, you’re working with some serious professionals here. Told the staff it was my first time eating here. The art of conversation isn’t dead while I’m still breathing. They were pretty excited for me. Hopped back into the car. Got home. Snapped this photo but not before grabbing an icy cold Dr. Pepper from the fridge. It was great. Just what I needed on a rainy autumnal day like today. Do yourself a favor and give them a call and order.

We got there half an hour after opening time, the place was empty, it was very cold inside, the ordering tablets weren’t charged which meant we had to go up to the counter to make our orders, and they took 15-20 minutes finalizing my orders. We got four orders of dumplings to try them out, we also got two bowls of rice and it took a while for the first dumplings to come out, and all four orders other than one were cold. Then we ate almost all of the dumplings and at the end they bring the rice when we were already almost full. The pork dumplings are good but they need to work on something to keep the food warm when they aren’t at the table yet

Great spot! We got the course set meal and it was perfect for us! I can’t wait to come back. Great hot pot. I really enjoyed how the set meals were set up. It was everything I would have gotten at an all you can eat hot pot but for so much cheaper. Downstairs is a to go spot for dumplings and upstairs has the fun hot pot tables.
Nice xiao long bao. Soup dumplings.
So glad they kept it open even though it’s slightly different.

The food was fresh, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable.
The night we were there we were the only people seated for hotpot, as the night went on the place filled up. You could tell the 2 servers were getting overwhelmed.
The hotpot was good, we had 2 broth and between 4 people shared 2 combo meals and added extra shrimp. We got 3 dumplings, shrimp, chicken (cooked fried,) and beef. All were very good!
The scallion pancakes were crunchy and can’t with good sauce.
There is a fruit/sauce bar.

Conveniently located right off of Hope St. in the midst of Brown’s campus, this food is delicious and also competitively priced. You can order by kiosk and pay quickly. I got the 12 pork dumplings hence the name and they came out perfectly and I ate them all. Next time I will try them steamed, along with other items on the menu. They have a full restaurant upstairs complete with bar and hot pot ovens at each table. I’ll come again. The ambiance could feel a bit cleaner, trendier, but it doesn’t take away from the experience for me too much. Still a win.

Delicious and affordable hot pot! My boyfriend and I arrived on the later side, around 9pm. We were seated immediately, there were only 2 other parties there. Service was very prompt, we had our drinks within a minute (sake was very good) and food within 15 minutes or less. The chef was leaving around 9:30 but they made sure to check if r wanted any more food before he left!
We got scallion pancakes and sesame balls, both very tasty and fresh. Tom Yum broth for hot pot is SO GOOD!! And it’s such a deal for the combo meals. $25 for a good amount of meat as well as tons of veggies, tofu, glass noodles, etc. As well as access to the sauce bar which I enjoyed.
Well worth it – we were extremely full and happy leaving. We will be back!

We did hot pot with half and half: pork bone broth and Tom yum. The pork bone broth was comforting and delicious deep flavor. The Tom yum is rich and sour. The self serve sauce bar has large variety-there are little bowls for your sauces on the shelf below. The restaurant interior is cozy, clean, relaxing. We were given the option to choose where we wanted to sit, too. The service was friendly and attentive from everyone we interacted with. I didn’t get our server name but he was quick to act like offering forks (we did end up using chopsticks instead as they are just better suited for hotpot, even if you are not a pro using them!) and telling us where the sauce bowls were, checking on us often but not too much.
We got Enoki mushroom, king oyster mushroom, beef, tofu sheets, baby bok choi, cabbage, udon. The portions were plentiful and it was definitely more than enough for 2 people, could easily be shared between 3 or 4. For all of this our bill came to around 70$. We felt this is a good value given the generous portion size, quality, and experience. They also allow to take home left overs which was really appreciated too.

Finally, finally! 12 Dumplings and hot pot after much anticipation, it finally opened its doors. The food was incredibly delicious, and the place was warm, cozy, and very clean. The signature’s dumpling were delicious, and the rice platter maintained their usual high standard. Now, I’m just looking forward to the hot pot place opening next week!
