I had been wanting to try this quaint little place. I found myself hungry and nearby. Umbrellas were over outside tables with a single gentleman playing the guitar. I sat right inside @ the first table. The staff was happy and friendly. I had a wonderful strawberry mimosa (small but enjoyable). I finally decided on the Monte Christo and I sure wasn’t dissapointed. The chef came out, asked how I was enjoying my meal and explained how the topping was made. It was delicious. The ham was not processed and had great flavor. Then there was dessert. Oh my! I had the banana foster not to be confused with the French toast (which I will also need to try) wow! The ice cream was creamy and delightful and the rest was so amazing that I ate it slowly so that I could enjoy every last bite. I’m going back to try the lunch menu, I’m sure it’s equally as wonderful as brunch was. It’s worth a visit and trust me you’ll want to come back.

We had a great late breakfast based on a Yelp review and so worth the drive from our hotel. Friendly wait staff, interesting menu and a nice wine list. Perfect for our need for a good meal without a lot of fuss. Friendly atmosphere, helpful staff, and a bit out of the city for some much needed perspective on the area.

Such a unique concept. The service was excellent, food was amazing & I couldn’t get enough of their signature lemonade. I’ve been twice and the menu surprised me both times (in a good way). Don’t miss this place! Update: tried the new brick & mortar location. A little more traditional experience, still amazing food.

This is my third visit here and every single time the staff has been unbelievably friendly. The food is always interesting, delicious, and exciting. The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed.
Most importantly my girlfriend is gluten free and vegetarian. They offer everything on the menu (excluding the house made ravioli) gluten free. Just ask and they are happy to provide. The gluten free alternatives are on point and just as good. The cook is gluten free as well so he doesn’t skimp on the quality.

We had to stop really quick to let our 5 year old use the restroom. I get nervous because many times people get upset and don’t let you use the facility. The staff was so nice that we decided to stop and eat. So glad we did! The outside musician was amazing to our children and the staff and other guests were so nice. Very down to earth place where you can relax. The chef came out to talk to us after we sent our compliments to him. You can tell its a family business that cares about the experience you get.

Excellent food, wine and service! Fresh IS very fresh and very tasty. Give them a try, but make a reservation because the place is very small. The owners are wonderful – very friendly and they aim to please! We have such good feelings about this place that we are soon bringing a party of 12 to eat here. Looking forward to it!

A gem! Three of us met up for lunch. The grilled sandwiches are fork ready and include quality ham and cheese. I loved the buttery cherry sauce on mine. The smashed potatoes are really satisfying. My friend had the French version of chicken enchiladas with stacked crepes and creamy garlic sauce with mushrooms and green chili. It smelled amazing and she said she orders it everytime. Service is friendly and caring. Prices are reasonable. The solo musician,/live music in the courtyard added just the right touch. Casual and real all round. Well done Fresh Bistro. I will be back soon!

FRESH RESTAURANT on 4th Street NW in Los Ranchos exudes a most charming and romantic atmosphere, and serves outstandingly delicious food. As soon as we entered, the owners Melissa and Jon (aka, The Chef!) greeted us warmly like family – even though it was our first visit. We got comfortable ordering from the nice local beer and wine list, and agonized over what to order because everything sounded so good. For appetizers, the Steamed Mussels and the Stuffed Mushrooms were absolutely delicious and quickly devoured! For entrees, the large Seafood Linguine had a perfect balance of flavors; the Seared Shrimp with Red Chile and Pineapple was mouthwatering, and the risotto was one of the best we ever tasted. For dessert, the Peaches and Cream and the Cherries Jubilee were both outstanding! We definitely plan to come back soon to savor other fantastic culinary experiences – and also anxious to enjoy dining on their beautifully furnished and unique Mobile Dining Room.

This place is phenomenal! My husband and I are health conscious and very picky about what and where we eat and this place is extraordinary!! The food is just what the name says, fresh AND delicious! Prices are also hard to beat for the quality of the meal you get! We will be back and will be brining lots of friends and family!!
