I had no idea their food was so good! I’ve passed this place many times, but I thought they only sold wine. I was there for a workshop (Upwelling Counseling Services) and was overwhelmed by how incredible the food was! Even though mine was so good (I was regretting I’d agreed to share with someone after I took the first bite), I was jealous of the food other people there ate! Everything that came out was picture perfect! Man, I am going back! I may be nice and share.

I love this place! Trivia night is always fun, and the owner is so accommodating to our groups when we want to have a group dinner, wine tasting or other event. The food is truly magnificent, also.

I had an absolutely amazing experience here! The owner is very nice and was very accommodating! The atmosphere is romantic and relaxing. We shared a delicious portobello mushroom appetizer, baked brie with garlic on top that came with apple and crostini, and the gorgonzola pear and roasted walnut Flatbread that was to die for! I had the Cupids Martini and a glass of Moscato which were both fabulous! Great for date night or an intimate gathering of a few friends. I will definitely be back soon!!!

I can’t express how much I love Grapes Bistro and Wine Bar. The Burrata Salad is one of my favorite dishes. I also love the portobello mushroom and the artichoke dish. I’ve been on the Burrata salad kick for a little while. I love how it’s paired with the chorizo and it taste like a pickled style of bruschetta on the side.

Was charged for water— That being all we had. We were not notified by anyone prior to the trivia night about this as water is free literally EVERYWHERE, and they have never charged us or anyone else before at previous trivia nights for the simple necessity of water. We did not ask for the water, it was just presented to us as a usual common courtesy, so we assumed nothing of it.
My group and I were only told at the end of the allotted trivia night after only getting a water while we enjoyed our usual trivia. When I addressed it with the manager, she basically told me that this was her place and us being here was costing her money, so she charged us without us knowing. I wanna repeat that none of my group was notified beforehand and we were charged for our water, nobody telling us this would happen. We also had one of our party members who ordered a pizza, so the table was technically a paying group.
I’ve never seen this at any other restaurant, especially when hosting a community trivia night. I do understand where she’s coming from when running a business, but giving us a warning (as it was just one night and it was WATER) would’ve been preferable as there was nothing she gave us to do about it. They’ve NEVER charged us before. The waitress was very sweet with me though as it was not her fault.

i started coming to this location when Ken started doing trivia night here. Ken’s trivia night was a nice opportunity to get out of the house and meet with friends. we have been played by his trivia game for a couple years now at a different location and have a group of friends who come. Not everyone is there every time but more times than not, we buy something. Either split a bottle of wine or ive bought food once or twice. They’ve always offered us water glasses to sip on while we play. Tonight our group came in and got a table. all of our waters were filled as we arrived and i bought a pizza (which was extremely over priced by the way. it was very very small. it was about a little over the size of a dollar bill and was over $14. i could not recommend any of their food). at the end of the night when my bill came, everyone else was handed a bill too. Our waitress said “she decided to charge you all for water this time”. we were super confused because i was the only one who had bought something. My partner talked to the manager and she essentially told her that we are costing her money by not buying anything and that this was her business and she’ll charge whatever she wants. she also just said “sorry it’s my rules” and walked away. no where on the menu does it state waters may come with a charge if we don’t purchase anything. we were not told that waters would cost us anything when our cups were filled. they just filled them and charged us. she was also extremely rude and condescending. i understand it can be bad practice to come to an establishment and never buy anything, but we buy things more often than not. we will not be returning back here.
