The three different entrees I ordered were completely flavorless. The hot chicken salad was not at all what is used to be; just very blah. The stuffed chicken was dry and had no flavor, even after I added my own herbs and broth.

Pleasantly surprised. First time I’ve had hot chicken salad. It was tasty. Their vinegrette salad dressing was spot on! I think their fruit chutney was a nice substitute for butter on their soft rolls. Kudos!

My experience with an ample pantry employee, and apparently the owners. Very weird to do something so horrible, take no accountability for it and then lie when something is said. Please do better! Never even heard of this business but maybe that’s for a reason, wouldn’t recommend.

MY GOODNESS!! ❤️❤️❤️ I just had a most delicious meal from The Ample Pantry. The vegetarian lasagna was AMAZING. The string beans were cooked and seasoned to perfection. The herb dinner roll complemented the meal well. The blueberry pie- I’m still working on that now- but my 1st bite was delightful. The salad dressing selection was very nice and the entire presentation felt warmly packaged in a grandmother’s kitchen. The most impressive thing to note, is that The Ample Pantry has not lost its touch. Being native of Kalamazoo, I used to order Ample Pantry for committee meetings many years ago. It’s so great to know that the new owners care about the community enough to keep the heart in the kitchen and with its customers. Beautiful job Ample Pantry!!

Went in Friday to redeem a $75 gift certificate that was given to us when my Mother-in-law passed in January 2021. When I walked in I could hear the employees in the back complaining about another customer order. The woman who eventually came up to the register to help me took one look at my gift certificate and told me it was expired. There is no expiration date on the certificate. She said there is a law in MI that makes a gift certificate void after 5 years – I chose to let her be wrong about the gift certificate by left disappointed that this is the way the new owners are choosing to run their business. We have been loyal customers but recently moved to Plainwell. Wanted to use the generous gift certificate to let our kids try the tasty hot chicken salad. Miss the original owners.
