We are here in Deer Lodge for two days. Both days we made it in here for lunch and drinks. Jessica at the bar is phenomenal. She made two strangers feel right at home and the food was good both days. Jessica was prompt with our drinks and food always showed up hot. Highly recommend if visiting.

Absolutely outstanding service from Jessica and the food homemade and delicious! On site smoked pork and chicken. The regular taco was a meal – yummy and the pulled pork makes you want to keep going back for more. Sweet potato tots and handcut fries are like mom’s in the 1960’s! And the 5 sauces served in large bottles allows for all you want. Just driving through, but wish we were staying longer. Highly recommend this establishment.

This is the best food in town! And yes, kids are welcome too. The BBQ pork totchos (nachos with tots instead of chips) did not disappoint. This is a permanent stop on our Montana road trip.

We are traveling through Montana and stopped for lunch. We were pleasantly surprised at Cell Block Tavern! The friendly waitresses were genuinely glad to serve us while they took our orders & brought our food. The bacon cheeseburger & patty melt were delicious, the fries were awesome & prices very reasonable. Enjoy your meal.
