Pretty standard Italian restaurant.
Had the zucchini flowers, arugula salad and calamari to start.
Calamari was par, the zucchini flowers were a bit heavy handed. They were trying for something diffrent with the mozzarella frying with it but it took away from the delicateness of the flower.
Salad was the winner in the apps, well balanced with greens fruit and cheese while not over dressed
Linguini with white clam sauce – standard
Veal with mushroom sauce- standard
Breaded chicken over pasta for the Mains.- good
Service was excellent.

I have dinner reservations with my wife at this place, and we both enjoy it. The restaurant is small with a great environment, the servers are polite and constantly attentive to your needs, and the cuisine is excellent and reasonably priced. Because they do not sell alcohol, it is best to bring your own. Excellent encounter. Definitely recommended.

A small Italian restaurant in Roseland, NJ. It’s in a small strip mall and not very visible from the street, you have to search for it. Cute and pleasant interior space with table cloths (no restaurants in Portland have table cloths, I missed table cloths) vase of flowers, and a candle on the table. They have an extensive menu I have been here many times and each visit is delightful. It is a BYOB which I like. Fried calamari is perfectly fried, pastas are cooked to perfection. It is a great place and I highly recommend.

I went to this restaurant because I was looking for a dish with squid ink pasta. I have had it a few times at restaurants in NYC and Brooklyn,NY. Each time, it was delicious. I ordered the Linguine Nero alla Tricia
$28.95 from here, which did not meet the standards of my past experiences. The dish was somewhat bland, it had just a few shrimp and small pieces of calamari. I was really hoping for a delicious culinary experience since I live in NJ and wanted something near. They did not deliver in my opinion.

Four of us went for dinner and ordered four different appetizers and four different dinners and they wear magnificent tasteful scrumptious perfectly cooked! Service was a team effort and extremely excellent also!
