Not what it used to be. Cobwebs on corners of tables, they put the cup where the mouth touches face down on the table. Who does that? I’ve seen multiple times where the lady’s thumb were touching my soy sauce and kimchi after touching rags and money. Unhygienic. Food is bland, dumplings ratio of veg to tofu/ meat was pretty bad (90% buchu lol)and sujebi used to come in a clay pot now plastic bowl. Either owner changed or they need to get there act together…

Food is ok and fairly cheap. Small place and sometimes parking is a pain.

Just ordered a tuna and beef Kimbap to go and honestly they are the best ones we’ve ever had. The pickled radish that comes with them are delish!

We past by Jongro so many times, but had to stop in to check it out ourselves. My wife and I frequent the local foodie joints and this place is tasty and doesn’t break your wallet. They have excellent deals and so many combinations of food plates. Looking forward to try out their entire menu. Trust me, it is worth the visit!

I live in LA and whenever I come down to visit friends, I keep coming back here to see their sign saying Temporarily Closed They had a small fire happen not too long ago unfortunately, so they will be reopening up again in the future once they fix everything. This spot here has been around for years. I love their tuna kimbab (I usually order 2) which comes with soup! Can’t wait until I get my Korean kimbab fix from this place soon.

This place was great, and I used to work in South Korea for 2 years, so I know what to expect from Korean food. Great price for the quality. It is hard to find good Korean food in LA sometimes because of how a lot of ingredients are imported substituted.
Please come here if you want to try good kimbap and soups. Personally, I love the Jjampong 짬퐁. This place is not a Korean bbq place, only kimbap and soups so keep that in mind. I’ll be coming here often from now on!

Ordered food to go. The fried chicken was excellent – well seasoned, not greasy, juicy on the inside. It was great with the salad & pickled radish. My mom is a picky eater, but she enjoyed the steamed dumplings.
The kimbop and yu-jo-cho bop was delicious. Overall, service was friendly & quick, food was delicious, and is conveniently located inside the Hannam Chain Market Plaza.

Ordered Tuna Kimbap, Donkatsu, Cold Spicy noodle ToGo. Loved Tuna Kimbap. Asked if they made the kimchi in-house, and learned that they make kimchi daily. It was all delicious and will definitely Return. Thumbs up.
