Nice small town gem in the middle of Lathrop. Wife took me here once she discovered it. Small and quaint with a quiet hometown feel.

The food is homemade and everything we have had so far has been fresh and delicious. The drinks are cold. The adult beverages are made correctly as well.

The staff has always been friendly and inviting. Nice welcoming atmosphere, would visit quite often if I lived closer!

We have been on the hunt for the best tenderloin and came across this restaurant in a Facebook group.

Although not the best we ever had, it was still decent. The thickness and breading were spot on. It was plenty big enough to share. We chose not to have a bun with ours, but we had the garden, ketchup, mayo, and horseradish. With all of the condiments, it was a pretty good tenderloin. Without the condiments, we felt that the tenderloin was lacking a little flavor and needed more spices.

We had the French fries with our sandwich, and they truly were excellent they had salt and pepper on them and some other seasoning that just made the crinkle cut tasty.

We also tried the wings, the Buffalo sauce was perfect vinegar, hot and spicy flavor. The chicken was tender and practically fell off the bone.

We stopped here on our way to KC for the weekend. The tenderloin with the white gravy was the best we’ve had. Philly had great flavor as well & plenty of cheese, not disappointed at all. Daily specials. The Main Street was cute & loved seeing the townies come & go. The only thing I would change about this place is to have a little dimmer/warmer lighting & I think it would set this place off. Lighting is everything. The food was ABSOLUTELY worth the 5min trip off the beaten path. Service was very welcoming.

Food was great! Flavorful and moist. Good portion sizes. Burger was real and seasoned well. Tenderloin was big, thick, and tender with no gristle. Breading was perfect. French fries and onion rings were fresh, fried, and well seasoned. Service was really good, bathrooms and dining area were clean. Great little hole in the wall restaurant. I would definitely go back.

If you go for lunch get a salad or the special. I got what I thought was a good old standard lunch , cheeseburger & fries with a dr. Pepper. They brought me a half a handful of fries and a hamburger with one of those tiny patties that come straight from a box. I was really disappointed from a small town diner. When I got my bill I was freaking flabbergasted, $18! Eighteen dollars for that. Give me a break. Well I will say that I chose to pay with cash so I wouldn’t have to pay the 4% fee if I used a card. Never again will I go there. The friends I was with one had the special, which looked good and was cheaper than my crap patty and the other had a nice size salad and tea. Which he said was like ten bucks. The waitress was very nice though and the place neat and clean. But I just went to 54th street restaurant today and got Philly steak and cheese with a ton of fries $ tea for $15.50 . I couldn’t eat it all had to get a to go box. So anyway. Thumbs down

My husband and I went in on a Saturday for lunch. The server was in a hurry and paid little attention to us after taking our order. When our food came, my order was wrong. I had a hard time getting the server’s attention. My food came back a mess when I picked up my sandwich it completely fell apart.
We have had amazing service every other time we have gone.

Really enjoyed this place. The owner was so nice and friendly. We had wings, fried mushrooms and a huge tenderloin. Everything was great. Wings had a great flavor and the right amount of crisp. Mushroom and tenderloin had a good breading on them. The tenderloin was as big as our plate. My husband and I shared it and still took part of it home in a box. Good prices too. We will be back for sure!

Based on a FB review, we decided to give it a try. We drove from Leawood, KS to try the Tenderloin and WERE NOT disappointed! The sandwich was HUGE, and was shared between my husband and I. Fries and Onion Rings were a generous portion as well and were fresh and hot. The atmosphere was small but very pleasant. We both left very satisfied. We will return soon and take some friends with us.

Good food. I had the philly cheese steak with fries and my girlfriend had the grilled chicken bacon Swiss sandwich & fries. My Philly was good. Not mind blowing but definitely for being in the Midwest it was very good.
Lite on the cheese IMO. It was there, but not obvious. Her sandwich was the same. Everything had good flavor except the actual chicken. It was simply a grilled breast. The seasonings used on the fries are fantastic! I’m sure they were just basic crinkle cut but what was sprinkled on them is pretty magical. Whatever mix that is, use it liberally! We shared a order of fried pickles too. We both suggest those be a focal point for your servers to recommend. They are great! She got a order to take home they were so good. All in, we’ll be back. It’s a nice little place to grab some honest, good food at a fair price. Thank you for hosting us today
