Baby! I just finished indulging in the most delicious Southern comfort breakfast I’ve ever had, thanks to a recommendation from my colleague. I call it a secret spot because I would never have found it if it weren’t for my colleague, who was raised in the area. I wanted to make sure I reviewed this place while the flavors of good old Southern country cuisine were still fresh in my mind. This breakfast hit my soul and comforted me like a grandmother comforts her grandbabies.
The grits were incredibly creamy, cheesy, and flavorful. I thought I had tasted the best grits before, but I was wrong; these were truly the best I’ve ever had. The fried fish was crisp and cooked to perfection, while the smothered fish was so well-seasoned it needed nothing else. The biscuits were simply delightful. Honestly, I want to be a little selfish and keep this five-star find to myself because it feels like a hidden gem. LOL!

The best in the business. I’m excited for this new location and new takeout/curbside method. There is dine-in space but limited during this time. This location operates efficiently and effectively in the midst of COVID-19. Easy ordering and pay options. I look forward to Thursdays for the jerk pasta with salmon. It’s so so very good and I literally can make two meals from it. The daily menus are posted via social media or via email if you’ve subscribed. Satisfy your sweet tooth with local bakers featuring their baked goods. You can always count on great service and a delicious meal.

Trendy Gourmet is a small little gem that serves excellent food for the soul. The atmosphere is stylish and trendy. The music they play goes well with the food too!
Most of all, the food here makes you want to slap someone it’s so good. I found myself humming and singing while eating my order of Loaded Grits.
The parking here is tight and limited, but the food makes up for that. You can also call ahead and place an order for pickup. The food here is made to order. Which means they cook it once you order it. The ladies at the front counter were friendly and respectful.
If you’re in the area, I suggest stopping by for a serving of a soulful dish. You won’t be disappointed.

I have been hesitant to write this review. The food is sooo good that I am selfish and don’t want it to get too busy. But I feel that not writing a review would be unfair to the wonderful staff and owner. So, the food is absolutely incredible. Great taste, great portion, made fresh, always incredible. I don’t think I can put into words how good it is. You need to go for yourself. I don’t often attach photos but I will here. I have tried the omelet, stuffed croissants, french toast, grit bowl all amazing. I plan to eat everything lol. Keep up the great work everyone. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. The vibe is awesome. A wonderful experience. Wifi so I can do some morning work while I wait for it to be prepared fresh. So nice.

We give this place 5/5 for elegance, taste, comfort, timely ness, freshness and community based. We enjoyed reading the Palm Beach Post article in the lobby area about the owners and the melody of old school that flirt with our ear drums as we watched the passers move on through their day. Wow…I ordered the turkey sausage taco with a side of cheesy grits and it taste amazing. I live near the place and pass it all the time. Today I gave it a try and I am very pleased. We stopped here on our drive to West Palm Beach. The food was delicious. It had plenty flavor. I had the fish and grits and the omelette. The kale was tasty. The service was fast and friendly. My daughter is 2 and she said the food was good. Hubby said it was the best breakfast he had in a long time out. I forgot to take a picture of the food.
